PetSafe Microchip Key Fob for Microchip Cat Flap

Not sure if my cat’s microchip was further back in his shoulder but he couldn’t open the pet door, placed this on his collar and it’s worked perfectly every time. He doesn’t mind it on his collar and as an outside/inside cat he needed a way to get to safety in the garage from weather and the neighborhood tomcats/coyotes.

Found out during a vet visit that my cat's chips were reading funny. Turns out it was THESE. While they work EXTREMELY well for the doors (better than the chip in the cat, mind you!), I'm not comfortable with animal control or a vet being unable to find my information on my cat if their chips don't read. If your cat isn't chipped but needs to use a chip door, this is GREAT for them!

Worked great with the microchip activated cat door we bought.

It took a few days for my cat to learn how to use it. But now it works very well to keep unwanted cats outside

This is a great product, I just wish they could make it smaller.

I am looking for an automatic cat door and since my cat is a feral, she is not micro chipped. They sell animal microchips on Amazon.. You could inject the microchip into the collar fabric of any cat collar, thus making a lightweight trigger device.

Works well and is a life saver as the microchip in our cat doesn’t trigger the door sensor. It is bigger than I expected but the cat doesn’t mind it

Great little product to use if, like us, your cats microchip isn’t picked up by the cat flap. I initially thought it would be quite heavy when attached to his collar but it causes him no issues. It is a little on the large side but again, not much of an issue.

J'ai acheté une chatière à commande automatique mais il fallait que notre chat soit pucé. N'étant pas le cas, nous avons acheté cette clé pour le fixer sur son collier. Cette clé fonctionne très bien mais elle est un peu grande pour notre chat de petite taille.

Ho microcippato i miei 3 mici e con questa tecnologia possono entrare nella loro casetta mentre gli altri gatti "non autorizzati" restano fuori; questo oggetto mi serve invece per verificare di tanto in tanto che la gattaiola elettronica funzioni a dovere.

Hacen su función, pero son muy grandes para un gato (los mios no son muy grandes y los oyes venir por los golpes que dan con la llave por todos sitios.
