Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 Super AMOLED . . . Super Efficient . . . Super Sleek . . . Super All the Way Around!
The Tab S 10.5 is sleek, easy to use, with a responsive operating system and a super AMOLED screen that gives a picture is...well... super! The images are crystal clear and the colors are bright, making movies and gaming more enjoyable. I have been playing Agent Alice and was delightfully surprised at the more 3d effects of this screen over my Tab 7 in some scenes. The sound is vastly improved. Samsung has eliminated the annoying tinny quality that the speakers in the Tab 7 gave out. The system itself is not laggy at all. Once I stopped drooling over the lovely Titanium color, the feature that attracted me most to Tab S 10.5 is the abilitly to use side by side windows. I deliberately chose this model for that feature in order to use Evernote alongside Chrome to do my university studies. I have to say that I was not in the least disappointed. I have acutally begun to prefer the Samsung over the PC for my studies. Tab S 10.5 integrates seamlessly with multiple keyboards. Unsure of which I would like more, I ordered both the Samsung Titanium keyboard case and the FYY trifold in gold with hidden keyboard, and after trying them out, I decided to keep both. Both keyboards connect wirelessly to the Tab S and are equally efficient. I find that Iike using the Samsung keyboard more at home due to the higher angle at which it holds the screen, and the overall stiffness of the unit for any long typing jobs. The FYY case is perfect for travel, although I use it at home as well, but it does allow me to hold the tablet open like a book for reading; it also has the advantage of being able to be folded in either direction so that it will either hold up the screen to use the unit as a sort of laptop, or folded more flat for reading or laying flat or one can hold it open like a conventional book. While the matching Titanium case adds to the sleekness without adding bulk and has a somewhat more comfortable distance between keys, the FYY case adds some bulk but it also affords some protection, as my relative proved by dropping it three times on the hard bus floor while playing a game. The only improvement I could suggest is to add a trackpad to the native keyboard to use as a mouse. All in all, I would definitely buy this unit again, and both cases.

Before you buy, Read this!! ----BE WARNED!!
Before you buy BE WARNED!!!Square Deals states these are manufacturer refurbished tablets, and that was what I was expecting. The first one I got had some screen retention (burn in) on one side of the screen. On a dark background it wasnt that noticeable, but on a light or white background stuck out like a sore thumb. It clearly reads : "Product design, specifications, colors and user interface included in this video are subject to change without notice and may vary from those shown. The availability of services may vary by country."Yes, that was permanately burned into the screen along one side. With AMOLED something like this can not be fixed without replacing the entire display. It is caused by showing the same image, over an extended period of time. Like a Demo model would. So I contacted Amazon, and as always they were great!! They rushed me a replacement ASAP.I was hoping/thinking this was something that just slipped through the cracks un-noticed.So the replacement came today, and that same writing is burned into the screen on the same side, but not nearly as noticeable. I could easily hide it if not for the fact the rest of the screen has a huge Samsung logo and some graphics burned into the screen covering the entire center. On Web pages, or any light background it can't possibly be missed. It covers a good 50% of the screen.According to Samsungs official site:Each Samsung Certified Refurbished Product:is fully tested (including full burn-in testing, if applicable)is refurbished with replacement parts for any defective modules identified in testing.is put through a thorough cleaning process and inspection.is repackaged (including appropriate manuals, cables, new boxes, etc.).So Im a bit confused. This is advertised as manufacturer refurbished.Yet Samsung clearly states they are tested for this very issue and fixed. The also state NEW BOXES. My first one was in the original box, but scuffed up. The replacement (which was worse) came in a plain white box. Now, in regards to the Galaxy Tab s 10.5 itself, its a great tablet. And I do recommend the tablet itself. In regards to the Certified manufacter refurbished version sold by Square Deals: They could pass for a new one so long as no one actually looked to closely at the display to see the burn in. They seem to work well also, except that neither of the 2 I got have working headphone jacks. Burn in issue aside, they look and work good. Minus the headphone jack that doesn't work.I have come to the conclusion these are NOT Samsung Refurbished products, but rather demo models that have simply been reset to factory default settings, thrown in a box as sold as Manufacturer Refurbished. If not Samsung, then what manufacturer are the referring to? And Certified by whom?If you do not mind the screen being permanantly damaged (I/e you can not fix it easily without replacement) and do not mind seeing the ghost image of a demo screen or text behind everything you do, the tablets themselves look good and perform well.I do wish Amazon would edit the description to state clearly these may not be Manufacturer refurbished as stated. Because nothing seems to follow Samsungs refurb guidlines here, and no sticker any marking showing otherwise. Just a tablet, and charger in different types of boxes. And its not fair to Amazon to keep sending replacements (paying shipping on each) until I receive one thats as advertised. Its not Amazons fault.Screen shots added. Note it looks worse in person than in the pictures. The 1st has the text on the side, clearly visible, near home button. The replacement has the same text to a lesser degree, but also the Galaxy logo and other graphics burned into the screen. Those are not shadows, but discoloration form the burn in.

I had a doubt about Certified Refurbished but....
I got this tab s 10.5 a week ago from ths review. Delivery came in 4 business days with double-boxed. No original tab s box was provided but well packed with cable and charger. I was disappointed and regretted that I didn't order new one instead of refurbished. Unfortunately, cable and charger didn't work. Tab s itself does look like New. I just thought what the heck and I set it up and use right away. Mine was Sprint version w/simcard slot.I really wanted wifi only.To be honest, it dId look IIke I was mocked from seller. After 1 week use, this refurbished tab s has worked flawlessly, except for charger and cable.I'm satisfied with this tab s and I would recommend who want 16:9 aspect ratio tab. This will be the best and last tab with 16:9 ratio screen.Price was cheaper than new and higher than the used. I tried to believe Amazon Prime and CERTIFIED refubished. It did work for me. I wish seller can give me a new charger and cable. The one they provided was absolutely junk.Cons: cable and charger never worked. No original box of Tab S 10.5Pros: Tablet does work and look like brand new(screen is definitely new and not even a scratch anywhere on tab at all)
