Student Solutions Manual to accompany Elementary Linear Algebra with Applications, 10e

This was a required text for my course, so there was no choice in selection. I always use Amazon when possible for textbook purchases. After the course is over, I use the textbook re-purchase service as available. My course has been straight out of the text, so I have outlined it so far. While it is perfectly serviceable, I would supplement it by buying the accompanying Student Solutions Manual, and subscribe to a math homework web-site also. It is at times a difficult read, despite the authors' attempts to be descriptive.

Today I get elementary linear algebra. At internet I could not find. And so I canceled. Bookstore want me to donate in our city. Book arrived and I canceled. I think that this book need Ajou university mathematic. I also get another book, I can do it

For me, this solutions manual was a key addition to understanding some of the more abstract concepts of this course. (I guess it depends on your professor.) It gives clear solutions to odd problems with some abbreviations because some of the problems are rather lengthy. I found that several of the skipped steps were just simple row reductions. (nothing to worry about!) As well as descriptive answers to True and False questions, which come in handy for understanding the theory of the subject and why theorems and properties work. The manual is very lightweight and of similar size to the textbook, possibly a bit slimmer. I recommend buying it straight away with your textbook for a great start to the course!Overall, a great thing to have while studying!Good Luck and Have Fun with Mathematics!!! :D

Like most solution manuals it is a bit dull or overly simplified.It doesnt say why it does the steps, which is critical for Linear Algebera.Its only been useful to me since HW is 20% of my grade.

The solutions manual does contain a few mistakes, but if you do your work and understand the basics, then you can catch those obvious mistakes. The ratings did seem low when I was considering to purchase one myself, but I actually don't regret getting one. It's still a great guide when you don't understand what the questions are asking. I found the manual to be very helpful.

This is a great book for someone who has a terrible teachers and has to teach themselves. Buyer beware that it is only odd problems. It takes you through each step of the problem helping to better understand the material.

This solution manual essentially contained only basic solutions. While it did contain the matrices in between steps for problems involving Guass-Jordan elimination, it was no help with the proof exercises.

Used it a couple of time to clear up my understanding of the material. It does a good job of waking people through the solution and explaining things.
