The revolution will not be televised.
I've been watching hydroponic technology advance with baited breath. I remember when these where 500$ and super sketchy. I was still skeptical buying this garden because of the price. Now its got its own knock off for 60$ Is this worth 179? If you have the extra cash for the major structural differences, user friendly pod kits, and directions hail yes. This garden means the end to food deserts across the country. Whether you can afford the nice one like this or the off brand. Every home should have a hydroponic garden in the next 5 years. Its user friendly- You follow the directions, pop the pods in, follow the prompts. Its small- As you can see, it fits on the end of my dining table. Takes up a cubic foot of space. Why buy only one when you obviously have space for two??Its good for your mental health. Its good feng shui? Kinda random but yeah, running water and bringing nature indoors. Its a palpable difference in your home. You can grow anything you want in it, just don't overcrowd it though, as you can see in mine and the other reviews the most successful gardens you only use a few pods at a time, that just gives value to the pod kits. one kit will last 2 "seasons" I will say to pay attention to your pods. My pepper pods didn't come with seeds. However thats not a drawback, seed packets cost a dollar at the store. Buy yourself a couple of seed vaults for 30 bucks... and some anything kits, you wont need to shop for vegetables for years. Its really that good.Welcome to the hydroponic agricultural revolution in the year 2024. Lets get these put on snap and wic.

Go ahead, just buy it!
I absolutely love this! I’m reviewing it 2 years after the purchase! It has helped me grow so many veggies and fruits successfully! The design is easy to clean and keep clean, not complicated at all to assemble either! you are able to purchase if you have EBT, if not the price is not too bad! Definitely pays off by growing your own fruits and veggies! Very durable!! It took a tree falling onto my sunroom during a storm for it to finally break! I’m reviewing now, before I make another purchase!

Very worthwhile purchase
You just put it together, fill it with water and the supplied plant food, put the pods in the holes, and wait. Growing fruits and veggies is very easy with this unit, and we really like it. The panel on the front tells you when to add plant food, and the lights turn on and off automatically. Nothing could be easier.

Years later, still a great product!
I bought this in 2022. It's now 2025 and its still holding strong. Nothing has went wrong. Still grows vegtables and hasn't skipped a beat. No mold, no smell. I obviously clean it out. Great value for my money spent. The height is the only con, as I wish the light was a little taller.Overall great asset to my home. Hope this helps.

The good, the bad, the ugly…
The good: easy setup, nice looking, very intuitive. Pod placement in the 9-holes was a breeze. It even suggests which holes work best for the specific plant.Planted the herbs. We love fresh basil, don’t really love but need dill for a salad we enjoy, and hate buying a bunch and throwing most away or leaving the grocery store without it. Hardly ever buy other fresh herbs for the same reason. This seemed like the perfect solution and it came highly recommended by a colleague. The Italian basil and dill are so abundant I can’t use them quickly enough - which is good, and not so good. The Bad: as others have mentioned, once these herbs get going, over crowding is a problem. The chives were a bust - never really grew; the Thai basil grew but got tangled with other herbs (the dill & basil mostly) so I removed it and replanted outdoors since we didn’t use it much, the curly parsley also never really grew and ultimately died before it could be replanted. The Italian parsley and mint are doing well, but we rarely use them. That said, I’m constantly pruning and cutting down the dill and ultimately tossing it anyway. The Italian basil - eesh! I’ve frozen about as much as want to - we’re almost to the point of being sick of it! Every time I turn around it’s hitting the light and browning from touching - even extending the pole. It’s like an Italian sin to throw basil away, but we’re running out of recipe ideas! We actually shut the light off early each day hoping to slow the growth a bit!The Ugly: as mentioned in other reviews, this thing is BRIGHT. It needs to be on for 15 hours at a time. It’s in the kitchen, but we feel like astronauts at the international space station can see it because our home isn’t well lit. I thought it would fit nicely under a cabinet, but the plants grew so tall, we had to pull it out to extend it and now we can’t open the cabinet without moving it. We really don’t have another convenient place to put it. The water it uses seems crazy! We don’t use our tap water for electronics like this because our water is very hard. It needs refilling by quite a bit daily - using bottled water gets expensive.Overall: this is great if you have the space, don’t mind the brightness, cook for a large group or make things for a crowd, but for one or two people, the herbs we toss aren’t worth what we spent for the garden. I also purchased the lettuces which I’ll switch out as the seasons change - I hope we have better use of that.

This Aerogarden is pretty spectacular!
The media could not be loaded. Here in our apartment, Aerogarden is a part of our every day topic. We've got two, and this is the newer model, with a digital display and alerts that you need to add more water, or add nutrients. It tracks the days between when you've planted your seeds, to when you should be seeing flowers, or whatever, based on what you've selected as planted.I highly recommend this one. We've started growing shishito peppers, and biquinho. They grow pretty happily in this unit, and we're super happy. Plus, the nutrients you get with the kit? Those can actually be used on your indoor and outdoor plants, too. We're quite content with this one!Completely giftable, too. We gifted this to my mom for Christmas, and she loves it. It's a great way to start seedlings indoor, if you want to move them outside for your garden, later. This is what she does with hers, as she has cats that tend to try to eat her indoor plants.Very easy to use. Easy to grow anything. I've even grown some of dragonfruit seedlings from seeds! So cool. If you're considering buying it, it's worth it. Do it!
