Friends Heartlake Vet 3188

Purchased for 9-year-old granddaughter who wants to be a vet. Fun project for the two of us to work on together as a pre-Christmas present. Good directions and easy to follow. Nice quality and all the pieces were there. She enjoyed the detailed pieces of a computer, xray machine, exam table and phone.

Lego is a brand that We can trust to build on and continue adding to her collection it helps building muscle memory and teaches so many things to young people, patience and responsibility. are two that come to mind

My daughter received these for her 5th birthday and has spent dozens of hours assembling and playing with this set. The level of detail is amazing. The vet office has a fish tank, a working mailbox, x-ray table and more. As usual for Lego, the instructions are incredibly clear, so much so that my 5-year-old could assemble even this large set with almost no assistance. Legos are expensive, but it's entirely worth the investment when I see the type of creative play that they inspire and enable. I'm so happy that Lego has started making sets targeted more toward girls so that my daughter is more encouraged to play (and learn) with legos like I did as a kid!

I bought two of these kits for my granddaughter for Christmas. She loved them and put them completely together to display in the playroom on a tabletop. She received another one from another person and, with the three sets, it looked like a little village. Really well made and cute kits that will keep the child occupied. I would highly recommend to any little girl.

My daughter wanted a LEGO Friends set for her 7th b-day. She has aspirations of some day becoming a vet (what animal-loving kid doesn't) so I thought this set would be fun for her. She has really enjoyed the challenge of assembling it herself (with an "assist" from me and Dad). It is really cute and has nice detail. It's colorful and the 2 female figures represent both the doctor and the pet-parent or vet assistant, whatever your kid chooses. It comes with three animals: a hedgehog, dog and horse. Overall I think it is a fun and engaging set and I anticipate she'll be asking for others in the future.

My child has always played with Legos and is crazy about the new Lego Friends series. She already has about 7 of the sets, 3 of which are larger and the rest small. She begins by following the directions and her parents have devised a way for her to keep each set in a separate box. But after the original building process, she becomes very imaginative and has created some very clever constructions of her own. As a parent i have always been a big fan of Legos and am glad to see that they have designed this special series. I like the counterpart for boys also.

Building was fun and easy BUT it is very difficult to play with. It easily breaks apart, pieces are way too small to hold in your hands. Furniture and chairs are made of slippery material and dolls fell off it all the time. Everything is smaller then it looks on the photo. My children are 3, 6 and 8 and none of them plays with it after building. DO not buy!!!

This is a great set. The animals that come with the set are the biggest hit. I bought this for my niece and she can't stop playing with the horse. It's really good for imaginative play and they can play for a long time with these. They are obvioulsy really different than regular legos in design, I wish the "boy oriented" legos were as durable and I like that the little people don't come apart. Overall it was a really great gift!
