This is my second Studio Oh! journal, and I'll probably never go back! The pages are thick enough to use nicer pens without bleeding, the canvas covers are beautiful and of great quality. I love the feeling of the canvas as well! The pages are also extremely smooth. It is the perfect size for me, not too big and not too small. And best of all, it lays flat! The binding on these is so wonderful because they lay flat and STAY flat. I'm so excited to finish this one so I can buy my next! LOVE these journals and can't say enough good things about them!

All of the journals made by this company have lovely paper that you can write on with a fountain pen and not worry about the nib catching on the fibers of the paper (very smooth) and no bleed-through. It's a joy to write in them. They lay flat when open. Nice size.

Outstanding Journal!! Love writing in it, no bleed through issues with any of the various pens/markers I have used so far! Also it opens and lays flat which makes it great to write in on any surface!

I love the message on the cover, the spacing of the lines inside the journal, the paper quality and that the journal pages lie flat when the journal is open. I'm giving it three stars because it is heavy and I thought it had a security band to hold the cover closed like other Studio Oh! journals.It weighs just over a pound (17oz) -- probably because the cover is hardback. Cavallini makes the same size journal and paper quality with a security band, less rigid cover, and weight of 11oz, making it almost a half-pound lighter. So in terms of throwing it in my purse and using it as a notebook the weight makes a difference.

I love these journals; I bought my first one on a day trip and have been hooked ever since. I use journals to document projects I am working on and the process of those projects. These journals have a nice smooth paper, lines that are not too spaced or too close and the size is really perfect. I can add in photos and still have plenty of room to write. They lay open absolutely beautifully!! This is a true plus when I am working and using it as a reference. My son is now hooked too. I would love to see ones with plain color covers too.

This is a great notebook. I needed a notebook to take to the gym and this fit the bill. It was better than I expected. It stays open and mostly remains on the page that I turn to so I do not lose my place while working out.
