You can Build what You Want!
I made a 2 drawer system to hold hobby paints. Really simple design, just straight cuts with a utility knife and held together with wood glue. I will add some knobs for the drawers. I'm really satisfied with the project as you can build anything you want with this MDF board. I chose to cut it with a utility knife to avoid the saw dust. If you chose to cut with a electric saw, I urge you to use eye protection and wear a mask because the tiny fibers in this board can be hazardous to your lungs and eyes. Also if you get the fibers on your clothes, leave your clothes outside in the hamper not to bring the saw dust into your house. This MDF board can be painted but it needs to be primed first. it also doesn't like water, so don't get it wet cause it will warp. This project took me two days to build cause I let the glue dry overnite.

Very sturdy

Strong and sturdy.
I paint in oils. I spent nearly 3 months on a painting that I couldn't get just right. (11 x 14). The board I was working on survived , undoubtedly, 75- 100 trips into the oven at 120-70 degrees. (I always turned the oven off after it was heated up). They are thicker than other boards I've used. I gave them a good coat of gesso for tooth. So glad I discovered these!

Lovely to Paint on
These are great as canvases. I love a smooth surface. Handle them carefully. I had one fall and the corner chipped. I chalk that up to my own fault though.

VERY SMOOTH
THIS IS GOING TO BE MY MATERIAL OF CHOICE FOR A LOT OF WORK. IT'S VERY SMOOTH AND TAKES PAINT WELL. i HAVE 1/8" ORDERED NOW TOO.

This MDF came flat and unblemished. I used it to make spoil boards for my 3018 CNC machine.

Sturdy for watercolor painting
This product was recommended by our watercolor instructor. We tape our watercolor paper to the MDF board and can tilt the board as needed to obtain the effect we want. It’s light enough to hold as well as sturdy.

Perfectly sturdy for what it is. Cut through and took screws/nails without falling apart. Good to paint on too. Money well spent.
