I have triend many reading glasses and I keep coming back to these. They fit my face well, the lenses are clear and I love that metal bows and nose pieces are adjustable. The 1/2 lense is perfect as you can look down and use them and look up and over the lens to talk or view longer distances. The only con I have is the smell when you first get them. It's a plastic smell and strong. It wears off but takes a bit. I wear them in my hair when not in use and they stay on due to the metal hinges. I've had them for over 3 years and not 1 have broken. Very satisfied with these.

I just had cataract surgery on both eyes recently. My long distance sight is great, but not so good (need to hold things at arms length to see them clearly), so my wife said to try reading glasses. These were my first foray into using them, and they're pretty darn perfect. I bought the 2.0x version, and by gosh, they were just what the doctor ordered (bad pun intended). They're lightweight, as adjustable as any wire frame glasses, and they are completely out of the way when watching TV. I have a couple of pair here, one in my car, and problem solved! One since bought a few more pair for my wife, and she loves them too. I fully recommend them if you're in need of your own reading glasses! Ease of use:Very easy! Functionality:They were perfect for me. Thickness:Without using a calipers, I'd say they're 3/32" to 1/8"and thick at the thickest part. So lightweight though, that is it's not an issue.

The lenses are well 'ground' to give the magnification stated. Comfortable frame. My only criticism: the soft cases that come with the glasses are very cheap, but worse, are not really quite big enough for the glasses. The case is too narrow and too short.

These are great! I can watch tv and do close work and I forget I even have them on. I got them after cataract surgery because I needed something for close up but did not want to wear a bifocal or regular pair of glasses all the time. The eye doctor suggested I look on Amazon for what he called rimless top half glasses cheaters. They are so comfortable I bought 4 more pair and have them everyday in the house, car and purse. They are very lightweight and have many colors. I got the 2.5 magnification and they are as clear as my old prescription lenses. I don’t have to move my head up and down when I wear them…. Just look over the top.

I absolutely love these glasses they are just what I wanted. Because they sit on the lower part of your nose you can still see above them for distance.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Wanted computer glasses, that I didn't have to keep putting on & removing. Slip resistance:Stays put at end of nose. The nosepads and bridge of these are meant for lower wearing, as opposed to wearing up nearer your actual nose bridge. (unless you have a very wide bridge). Color variety:Nice colorsFunctionality:Clear & perfect for what I wanted.

The glasses work well for reading. The reason for 3 stars is that the plastic on the end of the earpiece slides back on the frame. When it does this, it pinches my hair in between the end plastic piece and the metal frame and pulls my hair. It gets quite painful.It’s a shame because I really like the glasses. They allow me to read then look over the top of them and see distance without removing them, like when I’m working on my crafts or cooking a recipe from a cookbook.

Arrived on time and everything works as advertised. Having just had cataract surgery these do the job for reading a book.
