Great pens
Love these pens!!! They are the only pens I use in my office. They do not smear and they last very long. They also go through multiple pages of paper if you have papers that have carbon copies. Very lightweight and smooth writing.

Amazingly Elegant
So smooth in writing, it feels so comfortable. One of my best experience in writing with this pen. Absolutely worth every dollar. I am planning on buying a whole bunch of them for future use.

My favorite pen
The Uni-Ball Jetstream is hands down my favorite pen. It writes incredibly smoothly—like a gel pen—but dries fast like a ballpoint, so no smudging (even for lefties). The ink is bold and consistent, and the flow is just satisfying. It feels great in your hand, not too heavy or too light, and it glides over paper with zero skipping or dragging.Whether I’m jotting notes, journaling, or signing documents, this pen never lets me down. Once you try it, it’s hard to go back to anything else. Seriously, I keep extras just in case one disappears! If you’re picky about pens, the Jetstream is a total game-changer.

Great pens!
4.5 stars. These pens work really well. No ink spots and keep writing until the ink runs out. Only downside is that they're not the most comfortable things to hold for long periods of time. Still, I highly recommend and would give them 4.5 stars if possible.

Best thin tip pens available
The uni-bal jetstream fine point pens are the best pens I have used by far.Things I look for in a disposable pen:1) Fine tip (at least <0.7mm). I have to write a ton of stuff in small forms. I like to write in tiny letters.2) No smear3) Long lasting ink cartridgeAs I was researching for a good pen, all these terms "gel" "ink" "roller ball" "ball-point" were all extremely confusing. I thought gel was gel, and ink was ink. Ink smears and bleeds, and gel is supposed to be more viscous and thick (so it wouldn't smear). But now these companies advertise oddly and say they have non-smearing ink. Then I thought the ball point was synonomous with gel ink pens, and roller balls with ink...but the more I tried looking into it, the more I got confused...so in my review I'll explain it with my own made up words. And the 4 pens I have used recently include:- Pilot (0.38mm) Ultra Fine point black gel ink pen- Pilot (0.5mm) Extra Fine point black gel ink pen- Pilot (0.7mm) Fine point black gel ink pen- Uni-ball Jetstream Fine point roller ball pensPilot (0.38mm) ultra fine point:-Pros:1) Finest tip of all the pens. I can write very tiny and fill out forms with more words. However, too small letters can become illegible because there is still a minor amount of smear-Cons:1) Ink is watery and smears. But dries quicker than other pilot pen's because the tip is so thin that not much ink is spread onto the paper.2) Pen tip is so thin that it breaks easily. I had half my pen tips break on me. Deal breaker.Pilot (0.5mm) Extra fine tip:Pros:1) See above (0.38mm). Fine tip, but not as fine as the 0.38mmCons:1) Because the tip isn't as fine as the 0.38mm, there is more ink spread, and more smearing.Pilot (0.7mm) Fine tipPros: NoneCons:1) See above: Ink is too watery and smear-y. Don't even bother with this inky/smeary pen.Uni-Ball Jetstream Fine PointPros:1) Ink is more "gel-y", not watery. This is nicer in so many ways. First the gel rarely smears. 2nd the gel lasts much longer in these pens than the pilot pens (less replacement).2) despite being 0.7mm, I can still end up writing as many words in the same space as the 0.38mm, simply because there is no smear.Cons: NoneConclusion: Buy Uniball Jetstream Pens (0.7mm) only.

Impressed so far
I know these pens are highly reviewed but I've always been a little skeptical. I tend to prefer the smooth way gel pens write and always feel like ballpoints are much less impressive or satisfying to write with. That said there are times/surfaces when ballpoint ink writes better, and the ink tends to last longer than gel and I like to carry one in my bag just in case.I tried a jetstream rt pen a few years ago that I got at a japanese dollar store. I had heard about them on wirecutter and wondered what all the hype was about. It worked fine but was nothing all that special and I kind of dismissed them from then on.These were on sale for black friday and I needed some new ballpoints for my bag so I gave them another try. When I opened the package today and tried it out, I was initially a little underwhelmed. The lines on my first couple letters weren't smooth; it was a typical ballpoint experience for me.But then I kept writing and the ink quickly started to flow like it's supposed to. I was surprised at how smooth it felt and how it glided across the page. The feel was similar to the really satisfying feel of writing with my favorite gel pens and after those first couple of letters the lines have looked really smooth, too.I can't speak to the long-term performance of these yet, but the ink is bold enough and it feels really good to write with, so at this point I'm much more impressed than I expected to be. These feel good enough to write with that I can see myself reaching for it in regular situations, not only in "just-in-case" backup situations.Summary:- Took a couple of penstrokes for it to "warm-up" and lines to become smooth- Tactile feel of writing is very smooth and akin to writing with a gel-pen- Ink is bold and smooth (after that brief initial warm-up) and closer to the bold color of a gel pen than the typical ballpoint- I like it! I'm glad I gave it another chance.
