White Flower Hair Pins Twister Coil (Set of 8)

I was maid-of-honor / hairdresser for my sister at her wedding. I used these and did a dual faux-waterfall-braid; the flowers looked absolutely PERFECT. The white acrylic was clearly high quality, and added a touch of class and elegance. (Picture of one side attached. Both sides were (theoretically) the same.)Pros: 1) GORGEOUS 2) easy to use 3) stayed in reasonably well (I used too much hairspray, and that helped)The only downsides were 1) (as with ANY hair-spin) that they occasionally get a bit caught and are hard to remove without messing up the hair if they aren't positioned properly the first time, and 2) they were a bit hard to spin into all the hairspray I used. (The 2nd part is on me; I essentially turned her head to plastic to (try to) prevent fly-aways. Curly hair is HARD sometimes!) 3) I wasn't the one wearing them. ;)Definitely worth the price.

These were so beautiful I got a second set! I used these in my hair on my wedding day, and even my hair stylist was boasting about how beautiful they were and how they were the nicest she'd seen. I love that they twist into your hair. Ensures that they stay, versus bobby pin style which always fall out of my hair. Certain parts of my hair were too slippery for them to stay put. Particularly my bangs when they were just smooth. They can slide down if your hair is really slippery. but most of mine stayed put all night, even through all my dancing. And I am a crazy dancer. Lots of jumping around. Got lots of compliments! Not sure when I'll get to use them again, but definitely keeping them!

Love the elegance of these hair ornaments, and they look very pretty; but when the party is over, they can be difficult to get out of the hair. Just a few hairs can get wrapped around the flower petals and create quite a tangle.

These are great twists but two of eight arrived broken. They come in only a ziplock bag, not their own box, and apparently Amazon thought it would be great to stash them in a big box with other hard things and just a little bit of air padding. Five stars for the twists, just... make sure you order them alone in a separate order, or only with soft stuff, I guess.
