Seraph of the End, 1 (novel): Guren Ichinose: Catastrophe at Sixteen

This novel encounters Guren’s past and explains the troubles he faced before the catastrophe and how he became friends with Shinya and the others.We got to see interesting encounters and how everything is related to one another.It also tells us about Mahiru. We don’t know much about her in Seraph of the End manga. Takaya Kagami became my favourite author when i read Seraph of the End and as soon as i got to know about the light novel, i bought it immediately! They all are a masterpiece and should be appreciated. I highly recommend it.

I loved the anime, am enjoying the manga so i decided to read this spin off light novel. But since its not available anywhere online, i was lucky to find it on amazon. The characters and the theme of racial discrimination is very similar to kagami's earlier work 'legend of the legendary heroes'. Guren's character is like a combination of yuuichiro hyakuya, the lead from the 'owari no seraph' and sion astal, the supportive character of 'legend of the legendary heroes'.Mahiru's description was as beautifully described as her beauty. But her character seems to walked out of '5 point someone'.But I hate amazon for delivering this so late. In fact, it took so long that I felt it would take much lesser time if I took a flight to tokyo, went to animate, akiba, and brought all the volumes from there!
