Great for bread making!
These bins work well for making bread in. The lid seals nicely. Big enough to actually mix the bread inside it, which is helpful.

Makes it easy to know when the dough has "doubled"
Oh, sure. Let dough "double" in size. These make it easy to do that. Arguably, there are better ways to determine if your bulk fermentation is done, but if you use the doubling method, these help.

Perfect pair for Bread Baking
I love the large size of these containers for mixing bread dough. The smaller one is perfect for starting an overnight Poolish and then making the final mix in the larger one with the remaining dry and wet ingredients. It is easy to get the dough out of the round corners. I mix and fold the dough by hand without having to make a mess on the kitchen island. Remaining bits of dough clean up easily with some dry flour and a paper towel. Don't put the remaining bits of dough down your drain! They will eventually clog up your drain. Rub the flower into the remaining bits of dough with the paper towel and dump into the garbage. Only when it is free of dough should you use some warm water and soap to wash it out. Very glad I bought these.
