My daughter loves the coat. She says it is not too heavy. It fits just right. And it feels like a well made coat. I would say it's more of a heavy jacket than a coat. It's carhartt. So you know it's going to hold up. It will last a long time have no doubt. Everybody should have a Carhartt in their closet. The zipper quality is top-notch. I have been eyeing this jacket for some time and I am ecstatic that I finally bit the bullet and purchased this in a large size. I am impressed with how well it's made, it fits PERFECTLY!! This is a light weight jacket so just be aware but it is perfect for layering. I 10/10 recommend!!!

I got this on sale but I would 100% pay full price!! The material is thick but breathable and keeps me super warm! It looks really nice and I can wear it over a hoodie. I can’t remember the last time I had a good winter jacket. Water also doesn’t soak through when it gets wet. If you’re looking to get a nice quality jacket that will last get this one!

I love this jacket! I'm 6'0"/190lbs and I got an XL. It is a relaxed loose fit. The color is perfect. It's a light jacket, not particularly warm, but great for temps in the 70s.

This is exactly what I needed! I'm a medium but usually size up to a large for jackets/coats so I can layer. I bought a Large (I'm 5'2" and 145 lbs). It's still a tiny bit snug if I have a sweater underneath. If you prefer oversized things (like me) or want to layer a hoodie, go up 2 sizes, trust me. I still kept this one and didn't return for a bigger size, since this isn't replacing a coat, it's good for those 35-50 degree days. I washed it and the material is still good.

I am normally a size small and I got a medium for a more relaxed fit. For reference, I am 5’7” and 125 pounds and long in the torso. While the length was longer than I expected from the photos (possibly because of sizing up?), I really love it! This fabric is lighter than with some Carhartt jackets (no insulation layer), but that is perfect since I live in Florida and wanted more of a lightweight option that will still keep me warm in the winter. It feels like it will block out wind really well! Buy true to size if you want a more fitted look, but if you want it just a bit loose and baggy like this, go up a size!

2X fits great! Fits perfect for me! Ordered based off of the comments and sizing chart. 5'6" and 240 ibs. Usually I order size 2xl shirts and size 18 pants. Perfect for Spring, cooler Summer nights, Fall and maybe nicer winter weather. Great material. Feels soft and smooth. Love the cuffs and collar, and I usually don't like those on clothes in general. Highly recommend! This is my favorite light thinner jacket, because I usually run hot temp wise in clothes and this coat helps you stay a bit cooler. Looks really flattering on too!

This jacket is perfect for here in Australia where you don’t often need something super warm. There is plenty of room to layer with sweaters and hoodies if need be. Outer fabric is soft and luxurious. I thought from the photos that it was satin lined (still kinda wish it was) but it’s actually a breathable mesh material. Good for airflow but I’m not sure how it will stand the test of time. Only thing I hate is the Velcro tab on the inside pocket as it makes it a two hand job to get into it and I’m always afraid I’m going to tear the flimsy mesh fabric it’s attached to. Otherwise, very happy with this purchase.
