Great value for money. Perfect for a leopard gecko and looks great in the vivarium. Very easy to assemble and fit and the bulb lasts for 12 months (6 months longer than others). My leopard gecko is more active and his colours have brightened since this addition. I also use this product for a number of nocturnal species and have noted a positive change in behaviour and vibrance.

Was easy to assemble and fits perfectly in my geckos viv. Good value for money as it lasts ages and produces the correct amount of light.

This does the job. The only issue was that the parcel had taken a pretty nasty dent and so I was worried the light wouldn’t work. The 4 stars are because the fixture connection is a little loose. You put the tube in and twist but you may have to wiggle it to get it to come on at first. Update: A big plus is that all our power cut off and then when it was restored the light came straight back on. Mercury vapour bulbs tend to flicker and take considerable time to come back on.

I bought this lamp, but it flickers so much that it’s impossible to stay in the room. Constant blinking that makes my eyes hurt. I simply can’t use it - very disappointed

Funktioniert allerdings ist der Stecker nicht super fest an dem Lampenrahmen. Bin schon zwei mal versehentlich leicht gegen das Kabel gekommen und musste es neu einstecken, was etwas aufwendig war da es in einem Lampenkäfig ist

The setup is fairly easy and the cord has a good length to it. Works pretty great and haven’t had any sort of problems. It’s worth it for full price so if you see it on sale and need one it’s a MUST BUY! I’ve had it for four months now and it works flawlessly every day. I like it because even though it looks bright it’s not it’s actually pretty dim because it’s meant for uvb. I have it on for 8-12 hours a day every day with absolutely no problems. Feels nice and not cheap like some others.
