R+Co Balloon Dry Volume Spray, 5 oz, $28(sale) October, 2025: FABULOUS product!! Adds body and volume like no other and the thickening effect lasts until washed out. The only thing to ever work for more than 15 minutes on my superfine and severely thinning straight hair. Light fresh scent (if any?) which dissipates quickly. Easy to use. Colorless, no residue. 100% fine even spray (using for years - every nozzle perfect). A little goes a VERY long way. Versatile enough to use on wet or dry hair and it still looks and feels natural. If you use tons of it, it WILL dry crunchy, even though it doesn’t necessarily look it - it will freeze everything in place if over-applied and not worked through the strands or roots with fingers! (Sometimes this immobilizing effect is nice on difficult spots of an updo) A totally different class of product from anything available in most American drug stores. It’s worth it!!!

I love this product! I've used it for years now. Its my favorite product for adding volume to my fine hair. It's the best product for volume I've found, there's no sticky residue, and you don't need to blow dry to get the effect. Also, it lasts, and it doesn't make my hair feel gummy or oily.

This is my second can of R+Co Balloon Dry Volume Spray. Each time I use it I am complemented on my "perfume", which is in fact the volume spray. It isn't an overpowering scent, more of a light and fresh scent. I have very thick, heavy, textured hair which makes it difficult to find a volume spray that gives my hair any lift. R+Co Balloon Volume not only lifts my hair, it keeps it in place the entire day. The spray withstands wind and moisture as well. I spray near the roots of my hair and use the heat of my hairdryer to give it the lift I prefer. It is similar to a combination of root booster and a firm holding hairspray as far as texture. My mother and her twin have thin hair which is starting to show bald spots. I am able to touch up their hair in no time with R+Co Balloon Dry Volume Spray. They have tried several different products, everything from the most inexpensive to the highest price found. She and her twin sister were shocked when I sprayed a small amount in their hair and maneuvered it around to cover spots that normally showed their scalps. With their hair I find it best to spray and maneuver with the hair between my fingers. R+Co is a bit more expensive than most volume sprays, but it is worth every penny. Of all the R+Co products I have tried, this is by far my favorite. Each additional product I've used has a pleasant, enjoyable smell which I continue to get compliments on. If you can get the shampoo and conditioner on sale it is worth it. I cannot justify spending over $100.00 on a liter of each shampoo and conditioner when it does just as it says.

Bought twice & may buy again, BUT I go through it too quickly for the price. Need a bigger size. Very nice scent, and effective thickness, NOT greasy at all, holds pretty well.

I love balloon! 🎈 I primarily used it to tease my hair to place my clip-in hair extensions and it gives such a great grip, tease and texture to help control your hair. Seriously, don’t stray from R+Co!

Doesn't seem to really add volume. Just makes styling a bit easier. Would not buy again. Expensive for product size.

Really awesome volume+ hair spray…a little goes a long way…used up my last can and I immediately ordered two more. Tried other products, but this is the best, reach for it every day!

This product sure didn't work for me and the smell was awful. Returning it for a refund.

It's the best volume product I have ever used. First used by my hairdresser and I now continue to use. It's expensive but worth every penny in my view

This wasn't too bad but had to use in conjunction w a dry shampoo so it didn't look dirty. Volume was okay, lasted about 8 hrs. However the scent is AWFUL. It smells like an old fashioned mens cologne or after shave. I smelled it all day and I immediately went to return it on Amazon.
