Bahlsen Choco Leibniz Dark Cookies (12 boxes) - Leibniz Butter Biscuits topped with a thick layer of European Chocolate - 4.4 oz boxes

Ever since I ordered 12 boxes, I find Bahlsen's the best chocolate cookie around. The second time I ordered however -- in July -- all the cookies in all the boxes had melted en route, melted and re-dried, creating discolored cookies and blotches of melt. Unsightly and unable to share with guests. Very disappointing. But when I reached out to the company, they were most helpful and responsive.Not only the best cookie, but excellent service.Highly recommended

These cookies absolutely sate your yen for chocolate. I feel like eating a box, but just one will satisfy me. The butter cookie is great l, but the dark chocolate is amazing.

Of the 12 boxes in the shipment, 8 boxes were damaged and broken open. The chocolate on the biscuits themselves had melted. The plastic bag the boxes had been shipped in was too small to hold them without breaking them. I had lesser but similar issues on a previous shipment. I thought I would give it another try,Conclusion: Don’t purchase this delicious product, because it is being ruined in shipping.

I bought a box of these cookies a year(?) ago from a grocery store and I loved them and even though the store charged $6.75 for a box I continued to buy them. Lately though the store is often out of them and I'm left with inferior choices. I live in northern California and It's late August with temperatures in the middle 80's to low 90's and although I was worried about melting, I went ahead and I ordered the 12-pack box. When the box arrived I found it to be exceeding well insulated with sealed (melted) ice-packs inside and the cookies were in perfect condition.

If it was not for the packaging I would give it a 5 stars...So what is wrong with it? A competitor provides two fresh packs of six cookies and I such is easier to keep w/o having to gorge one up in order to keep the out of the box crispiness. Small details but it counts, especially if you live in Florida...Other than that, same taste.Price is reasonable.

Bahlsen is a great brand with great cookies. These are the best of the Bahlsen cookie lines.

I bought these cookies because I love the chocolate up cookies like this and I can’t find them easily in the stores I bought a big container because I wanted to share them with my son who loves them too however when we both opened our packages we realize that the cookies were either old or treated with some chemical so mice don’t get them and they have a horrible look and a horrible taste and I just realize that they’re not returnable so I’m gonna fight that with the seller and if the seller does not take them back or does not reimburse me I’m going all the way to Amazon
