Does the job, no complaints

When I first put it to wood, I was fairly frustrated. The edge was nice and sharp, but chipped super easily. After putting it on a stone and reducing how aggressive the edge was, it really came through. You will still need to strop it frequently, due to the steel not being ideal, but keeping your blade sharp is important anyhow.

Blade was cheap crap. Fractured and can’t hold an edge. Even after sharpening. Tip broke and I almost cut myself. Get a better and different knife

I cannot use this knife at all, it is too bulky and does not fit comfortably in my hand. I have tried using it on a multitude of projects and just cannot figure it out. Was a waste of money for me.

I had a fresh piece of alder I was working on when this knife arrived. I suspected that it was a cheap knife due to the price, but I wasn't prepared to watch the edge fold over on almost the first cut. Sharpened and tested again and it folded immediately.It might be ok for balsa wood, but I wouldn't use it on anything harder.

Good carving knife.

Knife was very sharp. But the blade is very cheap and chipped right away.

Good tool for brace carving.
