I'm a homeschooling parent and was looking for a good reading journal where my kids could document the books they read. This one fit the bill perfectly. There is one page per book, with prompts like: Date Started, Date Finished, What I Liked About This Book, My Favorite Character, I Liked Them Because, It was Funny/Sad/Happy When, Favorite Quote, and Stuff I Learned From This Book. Both of my girls love these new reading logs, they were well worth the price!

Using this with a rising third-grader this summer who is good at reading and sometimes reads the books too quickly. This book journal is a very practical tool to encourage focussed reading, improve comprehension, and emphasize on writing skills as well. With the homeschooling enforced by the COVID-19 school closures, we have noticed a sharp reduction in his interest in writing. Also, with more and more books shared through virtual apps and resources, it is not easy to observe his reading progress either. Hoping that this journal will help us in promoting both readings and writing at the same time.Thanks to the publishers for thinking of something like this!

Gift for grandson who is homeschooled and doesn't like reading that much. My daughter said he has been reading more comics so he can fill out the pages.
