As soon as it was said that Connor was putting out a book, I knew I had to get it and I knew I was going to love it! But I never knew that i was going to love it so much. Life lessons are painted out like a picture from Connor's life. It is so well written that even when I know I should go to bed I want to just keep on reading, So I do.. even when I have to get up at 5 the next day. I am so extremely proud of Connor and his accomplishments and how far he's come, especially considering all he's been through.This book is one of the best, most well thought out books, I have ever read.And as a frantastic fan of Connor I couldn't be more proud.You really get to see deeper into Connor's mind and life. You swim past what he shows in his 5 minute videos and you get to really see him for who he is. A normal person with an extraordinary message to get across. You get to see his relationships painted before you, and through that you see the importance of close true friends, and family. You will get inspired by this book. You will not only read the words, but realize that you can relate to the words that float on the pages of this book.If your reading this trying to decide whether or not to buy this book, let me tell you something, it will be one of the most inspiring books you will ever read. Now, I usually don’t read memoirs or biographies or anything like that, but I wanted to try this one out because I watch Connor’s YouTube videos. I am so glad I did.Connor’s memoir is so intriguing and fascinating, and I enjoyed reading this book so much. I loved his quirky sense of humor in this book, and I loved reading about how he got to where he is. I read about his childhood, his family, his life crises, and his overall thoughts on life so far, and it was amazing. He had so many inspiring quotes and advice about life, friendship, and the overall look at things. For being so young, he certainly has very wise thoughts on how to take on life.Now, when I got this book, it was Christmas, and I was so excited to read it that I finished it that day in about three hours. I’ve referred to it many times since then, and I always get more out of it every time. I’ve quoted his words many of times with confidence, and I love knowing that I got to know him just a little better since I do still watch his videos every Monday.I recommend this book to everyone. It shows just how hard life is sometimes, and it gives you some laughs along with it.Connor Franta 3 This book will always be very dear to me, and I’ll read it over and over again just to know that I got absolutely everything out of it.

Love it and love Connor Franta! I've been watching him on YouTube for years now and was thrilled to take a deeper look into what made him who he is today. It's "predictable" in that it is, as it says in the title, a memoir. It's not super flashy with twists left and right. It's a good, simple read that gives fans a deeper look into Connor's life that can't be done via web videos. It's also "predictable" in that Connor is who he is in his videos -- funny, kind, loving, caring, and thrill-seeking... to an extent. You don't really get any "surprises" so to speak, but you get a great perspective of what and who helped craft Connor today.Side note, huge kudos to Connor for putting himself out there in written form. I think many of us just think that since people do YouTube videos, they are comfortable in doing other creative things; ie, writing. Connor says it himself that it was not necessarily in his comfort zone to write a book much less get it published, but he did it anyways. It's incredibly impressive for him and other YouTubers alike to explore different mediums in order to connect with their fans; albeit, make some money in doing so.
