Mandela Effect vibes maybe
This was such a great movie. I wish I would have bought it instead of renting it. It was recommended to me and was told it was a time travel movie but it wasn't at all. It's more of a parallel universe movie. Either way, it was great.

Good movie
I enjoyed it, and not a particular Beatles fan. Just waited until I needed something different to watch, and it fit the bill.

A Musical Fantasy That Will Make You Smile
If you're a fan of The Beatles, or just enjoy feel-good movies with a touch of whimsy, then Yesterday on Blu-ray is definitely worth checking out. Directed by Danny Boyle and written by Richard Curtis, this film is a charming musical fantasy that will leave you with a smile on your face. The premise of Yesterday is simple but intriguing. After a freak accident during a global blackout, struggling musician Jack Malik (played by Himesh Patel) wakes up to find that he is the only person in the world who remembers The Beatles. Armed with this knowledge, Jack starts performing the iconic band's songs as his own and soon becomes a worldwide sensation. Along the way, he must navigate the pitfalls of fame and decide what truly matters to him.One of the standout features of Yesterday is the music. The Beatles' timeless catalog is brought to life in a fresh and exciting way, with Patel's soulful voice and Boyle's creative direction. Each song is expertly integrated into the plot and adds to the film's overall charm and nostalgia. But Yesterday isn't just a musical showcase. It's a heartfelt story about love, friendship, and finding your own path in life. Patel delivers a nuanced performance as Jack, and he is supported by an excellent cast, including Lily James as Jack's longtime friend and love interest, and Ed Sheeran as a hilarious version of himself. As for the Blu-ray release, the picture and sound quality are top-notch. The film's vibrant colors and sweeping shots of the English countryside are especially breathtaking in high definition. The bonus features are also worth checking out, including a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the film and a commentary track from Boyle and Curtis.Overall, Yesterday on Blu-ray is a must-have for fans of The Beatles and anyone looking for a heartwarming, feel-good movie. It's a musical fantasy that will transport you to a world where anything is possible, and remind you of the power of love and music. So go ahead and press play, and let the magic of Yesterday sweep you away.

IMAGINE A WORLD WHERE THE BEATLES NEVER EXISTED
YESTERDAY imagines a world where only a single, aspiring musician has heard of The Beatles. Himesh Patel portrays that young Londoner. Armed with a single guitar, Patel's Jack Malik does an amazing job of bringing The Beatles music to the world and to our screens.I've watched and listened to it many times and highly recommend YESTERDAY.

Nice
Good movie even if you aren't a Beatles fan.

The premise didn't land
As the movie was progressing it became apparent to me that the premise of the movie was flawed. It assumes that introducing the catalogue of Beatles songs into the world today, given all of the modern pop and rock bands that now exist, all having been influenced by the Beetles in some way, would have the same effect on the world that it did when they originally were released and when nothing in music sounded like it.
