I have used this type of pan for years for rice. Before I would usually make to much. As I hate leftovers, this is just the right size for one.

El caldero Imusa de mi tierra colombiana es la marca más sofisticada en Colombia de elementos de cocina, yo lo usaba en Colombia y ahora aquí en Miami Florida lo adquirí pero ya conocía su funcionamiento. El material del que es fabricado por lo general impide que la tapa se ajuste perfectamente al caldero, el material es algo rústico y con seguridad si se cae se va a partir. Me extrañó que dejó sobre mi estufa una marca de pegamento que espero yo pueda retirar. Compré el caldero de 0.7 oz porque solo lo necesito para la porción de arroz de mi hija pequeña, este tamaño es bien pequeño, para una porción pequeña de arroz, aproximadamente un cuarto de libra. Parece de juguete en realidad.

I grew up with these kinds of pots and things of quality not those thing stainless steel things you have to replace that are often in stores.Now I was looking for a small pot just like this. I’m so happy I found it, the price $9.99/$10 whatever I paid was very reasonable to me.I have very limited space now and until I move I wanted something like this. I’m just very happy I found it. IMUSA is legit. For like the tenth time I’m beyond happy.The weird thing is, which is kind of funny is seeing it brand new, the bottom so shiny. The family ones after years of use, even with cleaning you could see evidence of the fire from the stove. lolAnyway go buy and enjoy. 😁

It was just to small for what I wanted to use it for. I want to make chicken soup and there was no way that this item can hold everything in it🙁

The screw to the top is none functional because it comes off because it’s not the right size. Very poor quality

This pot seems pretty small from the description, but for single person (or side dish) cooking, it's the smart-bomb of dutch ovens. Overall size (including handles) is a hair over 7.5", the inside diameter of the pot itself is just under 5-3/8". It will easily cook 1/4 cup of Basmati rice (150 calories) with room to spare for some chopped up vegetables or meat. It will fit 3 large eggs (210 calories). I measured the liquid volume to the rim and it came out to just over 600ml or about 21 ounces, which if you think about it, is the majority of a standard wine bottle (750ml). The lid fits very well, and the knob on top remains cool to the touch when used over a burner. It will fit into an 8" dutch oven, which means you can "double bake" by placing a spacer underneath the aluminum caldera. It can go directly from stove/oven to the kitchen table on a hot pad, although I recommend using a lexan spoon so you're not scraping into the aluminum. Used with adequate oil/butter it does not stick if the temperatures are kept down. It has become a "go to" pot in my kitchen for convenience and function. It also is useful to establish "portion control" for those of us who wish to reduce our calorie intake. Great item!
