Salt and Pepper - Minus the pepper.
The core game is very solid as a stand-along game and the two expansions currently available for Seasons add only marginally to the game-play. I really like that there are new and more cards to add to the game. The option to have an enchantment card that is in play for the entire game doesn't really seem to make the game substantially more that what it was (making it essentially more difficult or easier to amass crystals (victory points)).For the additional cards the expansion gets a solid and well deserved 4 stars. The artwork continues to be exceptional and the card content adds nicely to the game-play strategy for the wizard/player.And as with any game it seems these days, you buy the core game for a decent price, and the expanded capabilities in add-ons are not proportionately priced (such is economics and good business sense). There is no negative comment in this regard, just noting that you should love the core game before adding the expanded game-play. For my gaming dollar it was a good buy and while I will likely not use all the expanded features in my group, the new cards are very cool.Game On!

Solid expansion, interesting cards
There's nothing amazing about this expansion as compared to the previous one. This one has a few more powers to pop into your play mat for asymmetrical gameplay, and it has a few more alternate game modes. Two involve the "Die of Destiny" (for which the expansion is named), which can be rolled to replace a bad die, which can generate energy of your choice, and which nets you "Destiny Points," which are really just another resource, albeit simpler: whoever has the most Destiny Points at the end gets 20 bonus crystals (points). This is a good, solid expansion for the same reason the first expansion was a good, solid expansion: it has a bunch of new cards to add to the mix. The cards are (for the most part) interesting, and interact with the other cards in interesting ways.

What a great expansion
This expansion adds so much to the original game that was already great. This is a fun addition to the original game that gives you more variety in gameplay.5 Stars!

A great twist on an already great game
A really great expansion. It adds a new array of cards to the repertoire and broadens options for players. My husband and I love Seasons and have played it many times. While we find the base game very replayable, this expansion (and the other) add that kick of something new and interesting to the mix. If you're a big Seasons fan, I feel this expansion is definitely worth the investment.

Great expansion for a great game.
The Power Card Deck is getting massive now, and players can't just wait on their favorite combination to come up in order to press the "I win" button. The additional elements in the game also add to the ever-changing game complications that increase the Replay Value.

The new cards add more fun options to an already fun game. I would recommend this expansion to anyone with Seasons and already have done so.
