I wholeheartedly agree with Claire B's warning - and this piece on nonsense went back as soon as I understood its true awfulness.The promotional material implies that it is amazingly space-saving and that you can make 120 ice-cubes with it.Yes, of course you can make 120 tiny cubes if you are willing to go through the freezing process THREE – yes THREE times.Only 40 cubes can be made at a time - and the idea is that you make a batch, fill the central cylinder (aka 'ice bucket') freeze again, top up the bucket, refill the chamber and freeze again.Bingo! 120 ice cubes made across 18 hours (because you have to freeze the darn thing for 6 hours each time).But these aren't just any old ice cubes, the 40 cubes made in this mould have a staggering total volume of 4 fluid ounces (less than 114 millilitres). That’s only enough to cool about 3 soft drinks.Balance this against the fact that you can get around 12 fluid ounces worth of cubes from the average oblong £3 silicone ice cube tray – which has to be filled and frozen once - not THREE times - to achieve the same yield.Another thing to consider is that storing cylindrical items in a freezer is not exactly space-saving.A further note on waste: when you fill the unit and push the inner cylinder down, a lot of water is displaced – so unless you catch it in a bowl for your garden, it is squandered.Likewise, when you come to retrieve the cubes – you will find a huge frozen disc of ice stuck in the base. Unless you have the presence of mind to put it in a plant-pot for slow-watering, this is yet another terrible waste of H20.This has the honour of being just about the WORST culinary item that I've ever bought.

Just awful. There were no instructions. I filled it up (by pouring in water around the edges of the plastic inner container)and got quite a nice number of weensy (!) little round cubes (25mm spheres approx). So I wrestled the inner container out in order to put said weeny balls into it. That's when I discovered the inner bit had no bottom! So water I poured into the ice cube moulds flooded into my teensy, already frozen spherical objects, melted them and didn't make any new ones !

Wouldn’t definitely not recommend if my return window had not closed I would of sent this back. Lid has cracked hard to get ice cubes out it’s a shame as looked good on site

Thought this would be easy but it’s far from it. Sorry a poor buy.

Brilliant product

The picture is misleading, the ice cubes come out tiny, and are very hard to get out.

Love the product but it arrived dirty and damaged. Very disappointed.
