At The Coliseum

bought il divo dvd at the coliseum. there were only 5 songs that lasted 23 minutes. the rest of the dvd was all talk and interviews. I buy dvds for the music. to me it wasn't worth the money

I have purchased two copies of this CD and I am very much a fan of El Divo. BOTH of these CD's do no start with the first song but jump to the third song on the album...Aleluya. I do not know why. This will play over and over and over and keep restarting back to the same song.What IS going ON??? Any ideas. I don't want to buy another one and I do like the arrangements on this CD even though I haven't been able to listen to it on the CD's that I have purchased. I did note that one reviewer stated that this CD was not formatted properly and I don't know what that means. Is is ME..MY Plyaer??...or do I need to try and order a third time?

Very strong, soft & emotionally stirring. Amazing Grace at the Colliseum is especially moving.

So beautiful , the guys voices are so awesome, more than words can describe. Makes you want to fall on your knees when they sing Amazing Grace an Halleluiah. The coliseum I the most beautiful background for this concert, I was in awe, I had chills through the whole thing. These guys are so handsome with such amazing voices, I can't chose one over the other, they are so fantastic. You just have to get it. It is almost a spiritual experience. I feel so humbled by the power of their voices.

I love hearing this group but the sound was handled poorly on this one. Most songs with this group start quietly and end with them giving their all. On this DVD I would turn up the sound on each song and then turn it down toward the end. Even then, I could not understand them at the start. Very disappointing.

I wish my wife had checked the most helpful review of this DVD before she ordered. Do NOT order this DVD if you thought it was the full concert at the Colisiem. Instead, there were only 5 selected songs.The title of the DVD is misleading. It should be "The making of the promise" because the majority of the DVD was about it. And, we really could not stay awake for that entire interview.For the misleading title, I think there was an unethical intent to sell more DVD's. Therefore, I give it a 2-star.

Very great condition and absolutely amazing DVD.

For those of you that have never heard II Divo you are missing out on the greatest group of guys I have ever heard. The concert at the coliseum has Amazing Grace and you have never heard it done better by anybody and when the man with the kilt stands up high and blows the pipes you'll get the hair on the back of you neck stand up I guanarty it. And the rest of the disk is just as great.

The opening rendition of Amazing Grace will catch you by surprise - get your hankies ready. Only 5 songs on this DVD - very diappointing as it appeared to be a full concert. The rest of the DVD is the men talking about how it all started. Very interesting and not disappointing in that respect. It's just that once you get a taste of Il Divo, you can hardly be satisfied with just 5 songs, but 5 is better than none. - Kate

This was a DVD/ music video which I couldn't wait to play! It arrived in good time considering the postal hold-ups with the COVID-19. I love it and will play it often!

I was so surprised to find the level of enjoyment I got from the Il Divo dvd. I loved the way they interacted with the audience. I never expected that they would walk aroud so much, out on the runways, instead of just standing on a stage. The lighting was perfect. Having watched them at the coliseum, on youtube, I expected this dvd to be dark, making it hard to see the men, but it was perfectly done. I feel I got lots of bang for my buck with this dvd. Time wise, and entertaining wise. Would I recommend it? You bet!!In fact, I bought one for my sister, who e-mailed me saying she was in love.
