Good, strong green tea
Like the normal Ito En green tea, but more "tea"I've always liked strong tea, and this fits the bill well. Great on its own, and tea crystals really take out the biterness and make it smooth if you prefer that.

Oi Ocha Is Now Made in Thailand—Just Like Teas’ Tea
I bought Oi Ocha on Amazon, thinking it was still made in Taiwan. At least the ones sold in the U.S. used to be, and I was used to drinking those. That’s why I chose it over Teas’ Tea, even though both are made by Ito En.But when the bottles arrived, I saw that Oi Ocha is now also made in Thailand—same as Teas’ Tea. So unless you really care about the wrapping or branding, there’s not much reason to pay about $4 more for the Oi Ocha version.I haven’t compared the two side by side, so I can’t say anything about the difference in taste. This review is just based on where it’s made and how it’s priced.

Different bottle, never-before-seen thick foam and terrible taste!
For years I have been buying Ito En Tea Oi Ocha Green Tea, Unsweetened, 16.9 Ounce (Pack of 12). It has always had the same taste and consistency, the same physical characteristics when shaken {this tea has NEVER before left a thick foamy residue at the top!}, the same bottle configuration, the same colors and print face for the label, everything has been exactly as advertised, tasting and seeming exactly as has each of my former orders of this green tea. This time I bought two boxes of ostensibly the same tea. Opening the first bottle this morning, I immediately noticed that the bottle was in a different shape, slimmer and longer and with a peculiar top. It smelled bad when it was opened. I took one sip, a terrible taste! I called Amazon for a refund or replacement. Their robot said no return was possible. I countered with I want my money refunded. Again, the robot says no return is possible. He then chirped "Is there anything else I can help you with?" Being one of their first Prime members, if I had to guess I'd say I've spent at least $50,000 with Amazon over the past twenty or so years. I'm sure their robot knows the amount to the penny. I am going to GROK on X and see what I can do to promulgate this problem. This is a defective product or simply {oh, the horrors} a stab at fostering a cheaper product on the public. This batch is "Made in Thailand." All the others have been "Made in Taiwan." Amazon hasn't heard the last of me considering how crucial the nature of our food happens to be. {Copy to: Amazon file}
