Fabulous Strippers
These are the best ever small gauge wire strippers I’ve ever used. Precision and perfectly sharp makes a clean strip every time. Shouldn’t be surprised since it’s a Hakko product. Top quality!

Works great! Perfect for custom neon sign work.
I use these for stripping electrical / speaker wire for custom neon signs, and have 0 complaints.Well made & works perfectly.I’ve only worked with 22 gauge wire, so I can’t speak for the accuracy of the other measurements, but I always get a clean cut that doesn’t remove any of the wanted wire strands.Feel free to reach out with any questions/questions.Best, IG: @marysels

Best for small wires
Very good for small wires, has smaller gauge (and MM) sizes than most out there. It's also compact, see pic for comparison to Greenlee. Cuts smooth and accurately. The handles are great - an ergonomic and grippy feel.Obviously you want a different tool for above 16 gauge or for other tasks like cutting screws. I use an auto stripper for anything bigger than this will handle.

These feel really comfortable in my hand
These feel really comfortable in my hand. I like the construction looks very professional, not cheap metal. Only disappointment is the numbers engraved on the metal are not very clear. Makes it difficult to read the wire gauge.

Hakko / CHP are the best tools available for small electronics
Hakko / CHP are the best tools available for small electronics. We use them exclusively and have about 5 electronics workstations with Hakko Irons and CHP hand tools. This set of strippers is our "Primary set", being used 12-14 hours a day, everyday. We use mostly 20 and 22 AWG wire, and this set of strippers are perfect for that, with the 20AWG strip die centered in the tool, allowing excellent technique to avoid severed strands. We also use the CSP-30-2 for larger 10 - 16 AWG only. CHP is the best. I strongly recommend these, but consider what gauge wire you will be using the most of and buy the set that fits that need the best.If you are a commercial or residential electrician stripping solid core wire (romex) or heavy duty stranded wire, I would not use these for that. They are more delicate and not intended for that. If you do electronics or automotive work where you are using standard stranded wire (UL1569/UL1007), these are what you want for sure. The best.As mentioned, we take care of these tools and treat them like precision equipment. If you do that, they will last you forever. But, they are more delicate than monster Crescent side cutters, or heavy duty strippers. They are 10 times more precise as well. If you drop them, they can get out of alignment and have excessive resistance or whatever. My point is don't assume you can throw them around like the rest of the pliers in your tool box. Take care of them and they will more than take care of you. In our travel kits, I keep these all in a soft tool roll to protect them in my service tool bag. They are great.

Good quality consistent strippers
I like Hako products, soldering irons, wire cutters and now these wire strippers, I’ve bought a bunch of different wire strippers most of them are junk these produce consistently reliable strips, are well-made and not too expensive

Fast and comfortable.
Really nice. Fast and clean stripping. I’ve used my fare share of wire strippers I’ve the years and these are among the best, and at a price that beats many of the inferior ones. If you are in the market for wire strippers this is the pair you are looking for.
