Easy to use and does the job well
Used this to refinish our butcher block and it worked great. Application was simple, the finish looked clean and rich, and it brought the wood back to life. I’ll definitely repurchase when it’s time for the next round of maintenance. Recommend if you want something that’s effective and low fuss sealer. No strong fumes (although it does have a smell), dries quickly and good coverage without scratching

4 coats will be brilliant shine and last for over 5 years. 2 coats will be satin finish.
Been using this butcher block sealer for years. It last for years also project after project. I recommend 4 coats and last coat to be thickest for a brilliant shiny finish. 1000 grit light sanding before every coat. Smell strong but not as bad as other products. Easy to apply with a cloth or old white socks. Resistant to water and anything spill on it. I used on island butcher block for 6 years still going strong. Just did a full kitchen on a house with butcher counter top with 4 coats. it looks amazing.

It works!
I was ready to replace my butcher block counter on my kitchen island. It was so dull and such an eyesore. This stuff is amazing! The counter is beautiful now and I’m glad I didn’t get rid of it!

Looks great on butcher-block... VERY sticky when applying.
Looks great on butcher-block... VERY sticky when applying. Make sure you sand it first and don't let anything stick to the finish when it's drying... super sticky, wear gloves. I want to use this on my butcher/wood counter tops. It feels like a thin poly finish, not like an oil. Easy to apply with a rag, but plan on throwing that rag away most likely. Doesn't smell bad or off-gas as it's food safe... has a smell, but seemed fine indoors as I brought it in overnight to dry. So far food smears/stuff just easily wipes off the top (after it dried), but I've only had it for a little while

Have used this for years
We have used this butcher block oil and finish since 2008. On non-work wood surfaces...sides of cabinets etc it provides a long lasting finish. On surfaces that get a lot of wear, we found it would routinely last a year or more and was easy to re-coat. If you seal the can after use properly, the product will have a long shelf life. We recommend it.
