Love this!
I love this product! I have to be gluten free and this is a perfect substitute for so many things that I used to use 'regular' fried onions for. Examples are: I pop a quarter cup in meat loaf, I use it for green bean casserole, in a chicken and rice dish I make and tons of other things. The bag is HUGE and lasts me for about 6 to 8 months after opening. This is a great value for the price!

Tasty and Convenient
Tasty, gluten free, non-GMO crispy fried onions. I keep a bag of these in the fridge for topping scrambled eggs, green bean casseroles, and any number of other instances where they add just little extra savory zest to a dish that cries out for it. A bag of these last me about a year, so it’s worth keeping some on hand.

Expired Best-By Date
Usually a good product but the last package arrived with a Best By date that expired several months previously. I did not notice until opening the package and finding the product stale and not crispy, with a rancid oil aroma. This product does not have a long shelf life before opening and even less after opened so freshness is of high importance.

Good product
We always get these to make gluten free green bean casseroles. They are a bit oiler than the ones from the cans but have an excellent taste. My husband likes to munch on them straight from the bag. Would recommend for the price and flavor.

Fried onions - my kids want them on everything!
Delicious! My kids fell in love with these fried onions and love them sprinkled on all kinds of things. They are great on casseroles, rice bowls, mashed potatoes, breakfast tacos, and more. The flavor and texture are nice. I appreciate that there are gluten free (Celiac disease) only have couple ingredients, and no unnecessary additives.

Lacking flavor, but liked that they don't contain gluten
I got these because the fried onions you get in the grocery store have gluten. I wanted to make a green bean casserole and I needed gluten free onions along with the gluten free cream of mushroom soup. I found the flavor a little lacking, but I’m only comparing them to Lipton onions that I used to be able to eat, until I could no longer have gluten. Also some of the fried onions were a little hard or sometimes chewy. They didn’t have as much of an onion flavor in the casserole.

Great alternative for GF!
If your family has a need to be gluten free, these fried onions are a great alternative to the usual ones in stores. I made a homemade white sauce with GF flour for greenbean casserole at Easter using these fried onions. They have a great flavor and the casserole was a hit for all the family, not just the ones GF.

Just Bad Overall BUT Good Customer Service
Updated 11/12/24:Adding a star to my original review (2 total now). Doing this as the company stands behind their products and reached out to me to try to correct it. That means a lot. So while I didn’t like the one I got, it could have been a bad batch or just wasn’t our taste. Either way they will stand behind their product so worth giving it a try if you’re looking for gluten free options.—————————-So I have gotten gluten free fried onion and some are good, however they are not available so I wanted to try these. First, they come in a bag so by the time they reach you they are tiny bits. I wanted to give them a try though so before using them on some chicken I took a small bite and, well, that initial bite just gives a foul, bad taste. Maybe the oil, maybe the cooking method or the ingredients but I literally had to throw the bag out after. My wife tried a bite and how to spit it out. I know good ones can be made gluten free but I don’t think these are them.
