I really wish I had known about this cat litter mat a long time ago! I was killing myself trying to maintain a mesh mat that did the job but maintenance was a major chore. I knew this was the ticket as soon as I removed it from the package.As you can see in the attached photo, I have a corner litter box (which was also a great find) so I positioned the mat to ensure that most of the floor is covered. You cannot see that I was also able to turn up the corners that face the wall which allows for a neat fit...nothing sticking out or unsightly. Definitely go with the larger size if it fits in your space. Great at catching the litter from Storm's paws.I just re-ordered a second one to use while the first one is drying after washing which I don't think should be too often. I may order two more but not for cat purposes.....one for my front entrance and one for the back patio which butts up against the back door. This mat is multi-purpose and worth every penny. No buyer's remorse here!

I have tried so many different types of litter mats for my cat over the years but this one wins hands down! I love how the excess litter falls through the holes when my bat gets out of the box & can be poured back either back in to her box or into the garbage. This collects more kitty litter than any other mat I’ve tried, over 30+ years of sharing my house with cats! No more trying to vacuum litter mats several times and still not getting all of the litter out of them! Not to mention the smell that builds up over time from the litter that stays in the mat no matter how hard you try to get it out, ugh.I do recommend the larger size though - at first I bought 1 small and 1 large. The small didn’t cover enough area for my cat so I was walking on too much litter on my lvp floors. I ended up ordering another large one and it really made a difference.If you want a litter mat that is easy to use & clean, I highly recommend this brand!

This pad works as it should, trapping litter when cats exit the litter box. I have some messy cats, who don’t always have their rear in the box while relieving, so the pad inevitably gets dukkies on it. And that is when I don’t like the pad. There are way too many nooks and crannies for the dukkies to get stuck in, and it becomes a huge chore to clean it off. After trying to make this pad work for me, I give up, and will be shopping for a single layer pad that is thinner, has a gripping base and is washable. Because my cats are too messy in the end.

I’ve tried a few different litter mats, but this one really does the job. The honeycomb design traps litter effectively, so I’m not constantly sweeping little pieces across the floor. What I really appreciate is that it’s urine proof—my cat sometimes misses the box, and instead of soaking through to the floor, the mat contains the mess and is easy to rinse off.It’s lightweight but sturdy, lays flat without curling, and cleaning it is simple—just shake out the litter or give it a quick wash. I also like that it’s soft enough for my cat to walk on without hesitation.

This mat does trap litter very well. However, I had 2 major issues: the mat never laid fully flat after taking it out of the box. I did as directed and placed weighted objects on it, but the ends always curled. I could have dealt with that alone, but I have a senior cat with special needs who has occasional accidents around the litter box. I should have thought of this before I got the mat, because he missed the box and pooped on the mat. It was almost impossible to clean, and took over an hour with brushes, rags, and a spray hose to get the mess out of all the honeycomb structure and little holes. I gave it a second try, but when it came time to clean the mat again, I gave up. I think it is a decent product if your cats aren't going to get any sort of waste on the mat, but if you have a cat that does need some extra care in that area, I would recommend looking for other alternatives.

I’ve tried a few litter mats before, but this one is by far the best I’ve owned. It looks nice and blends in well with my space, but more importantly, it’s extremely functional. The double-layer design traps litter perfectly, even the smaller particles, so my floors stay clean. The leak resistance is excellent, and it feels sturdy without being overly heavy. It holds a lot of litter before needing to be emptied, which makes it super convenient, and for the price, the value is outstanding. My cat walks right over it without hesitation, and cleanup is quick and easy. Highly recommend to any cat owner who wants less mess around the litter box!

This is one of the best purchases I've ever made in Amazon! It's definitely been a game changer. We just adopted a kitty and the litter was getting tracked all over our house, and I couldn't deal with it. I saw this mat and decided to purchase it, hoping that it would prevent this from happening, it at least cut down in the mess. It's definitely helped tremendously! I absolutely recommend purchasing this litter mat! You will be thankful you did.

Great mat, except one of my cats pees on the mat instead of in the box. When I remove the mat she’s back to peeing in the box.
