Not the version I grew up with

It's a totally different text from the Paddington at the Tower I read as a kid. Finally acquired a vintage edition for comparison and it has been changed a lot, not to my taste. Some things to update it for a contemporary visit to the Tower of London, but others sort of random and odd. Most importantly they removed important plot and exposition so that the storyline with the ravens makes no sense and is oddly tacked on at the end.
