Choose the one that looks like it will work with your trailer.
I got an instep Kiddo trailer 2nd hand and it didn't come with the coupler.I looked at the diagram here, and I talked to 2 different people from instep, and they both suggested the flat coupler based on the model and date code information on the trailer. I really didn't get it, because the trailer arm obviously comes in at a 45 degree angle to the bike, not 90 degrees. So i disregarded the advice of the people i talked to, and ignored the pictures on this listing telling you how to choose the right coupler and just got the angled one. It worked out perfectly. I still don't understand in what world the straight one would be a better choice for this trailer. Maybe mine is a fluke, or maybe I'm not using it right, but ive got on 2 decent rides and it works great. I would have had to bend the spring quite a bit to get it into a flat coupler.Anyway, besides that, its easy to install, sturdy, and works great. I used it on a 29" Trek Xcaliber mountain bike and it fit like a charm.

Works just fine
This trailer bike hitch works just fine. Had to adapt the washers on my e-bike to make it work, but after that was great and easy to finish the install. Our e-bikes have a thick area that makes it hard er to mount it is all. In the end it worked just fine. Tows the little trailer the dogs ride in just fine. Strong and well made. I would buy it again if the need came up.

Allen2 doable with some force
I bought this adapter to use for my Allen Sports Deluxe Steel 2 Child Trailer. The product doesn't claim to be a fit for the Allen 2 Trailer so I don't fault the adapter for the fit. The trailer arm has an aluminum cap that interferes with the adapter slot. It can be forced into with enough pressure and seems to work fine for my needs. Others may struggle or want an adapter that's better suited. The price and function, it's fine for me. I am starting with 4 stars as I'm still using the adapter and will update the review and stars based on how well it holds up over the next month.

Well built but...
It didn't fit my Schwinn trailer so I had to drill new holes in the correct place (on the Schwinn). Not terrible, but still a hassle. To would be better if they added another set of holes for ones where they're horizontal.

Just Like Original
The original one was attached to a bike that was stolen so I had to get a new one and I got two. One for two different bikes. Works well on two different bikes. Will definitely buy this again if I need a coupler for the same bike trailer.

This works for my instep double trailer and cannondale bike ...
This works for my instep double trailer and cannondale bike. The only issue is that the image shows the bracket with a horizontal pin because the bracket is diagonal left to right. However, when you install it, you need to rotate it 90 degrees counterclockwise and the pin ends up vertical. My trailer hookup is horizontal. So, I had to mount it half way in between and muscle the trailer bar into the pin slot.
