Amazon Essentials Sterling Silver 18k Gold Two Tone 2.3mm Twisted Butterfly Chain Necklace , (previously Amazon Collection)

I took advantage of a Prime Day deal to get this necklace for less than $10. I was not disappointed. It is very pretty and good quality.

I really love this two tone option! But it always pulls my hair out and that is disappointing.

I like the chain, it’s nice, a tiny bit thinner than expected but it looks nice in person and in my opinion nicer in person than a lot of the review photos even show.My only issue is the clasp. The clasp is really small and more of an elongated shape. The jump “ring” is also very elongated and has flat sides. I find it very difficult to put the necklace on, even more difficult with a mirror. If the clasp or ring were a bit bigger and/or not so long and flat I don’t think this would be an issue. Because of the size of the clasp, it narrowly hooks on to the jump ring. I plan to replace these with other parts soon. Something to keep in mind when purchasing.

I love it, so sparkly! Glad I ordered it and wish I had ordered a couple more for gifts (currently unavailable it says now). If you get the chance get it. I've only had it for 2 days so I cannot rate it's appearance and sparkle after wearing it for awhile. But right now it is gorgeous!

Gorgeous chain and nice thickness. Bought this for my daughter who has a matching set of ring and pendant but one is gold and one is silver. This will nicely complement both. I know she will love the set.

Very delicate chain, nice length, (I don't like chains which cling to my neck). Obviously, for the price I didn't expect a thick chain. Although small, looks pretty and catches the light, making it stand out a lot for the size.

Update review: After 6 months, my necklace is now almost black in colour. Any gold that may have been plated is now gone and after wearing it daily for 7 months, I agree, it gets caught in your hair!!! Would not recommend after all unless you only buy it to wear on special occasions, but it won't last if you wear it every day.Original Review Jan 2019: Not exactly what I was expecting which was more of a "gold" chain. This is a two-tone gold and silver twisted chain. It is actually quite stunning. I bought it to go with a gold cross and there is enough gold that it works, but you could equally attach a silver pendant and that would work too. It is very "Sparkly" when the light catches it. Nothing like anything I have ever seen. If you are looking for a thick cheap solid gold looking chain, this is not it. But if you want something "different", then this is a good choice.
