HOw do you switch it on?

It has been awhile since I purchased this clock, but I believe there is a button/knob on the clock that you pull out, then set the clock, then push it back in. Some times there is a piece of cellophane behind the button that you have to remove. This is there so the battery is not in use until you set the clock. I hope this helps.

How do you change the battery?

I haven't done it. I usually buy the replacement for $9 instead of the $6 battery. I'm going to try.

How do you get into the battery to change it?

You have to pop the back panel off with a small flathead screwdriver or other narrow flat tool. Otherwise you have to take it to Walmart or other place that changes watch batteries and have them do it for a small fee.

It says it is 1 1/2 “ but then you scroll down & it says 1 7/16, which is it?
