Durable, optically clear, and fit most standard helmets
First words of advice given to any new welder: In order to weld something, you have to see what you're welding!These lenses are great. They're made of glass (won't scratch), are easy to clean, and fit in standard size welding helmets.I use these for TIG welding thin chrome-moly tubing and sheet, and my success has improved dramatically since I started using these lenses.

Vision improver
You can see so much better when welding with one of these however instead of a one-piece Glass lens it's a two-piece Glass lens surrounded by a black plastic border which is thicker than some of the cheater lenses making it harder to slide in your welding helmet but it will go with some patience

Weld puddle is visible
Have been practicing TIG welding for close to a year. Just couldn't get it, couldn't see the weld puddle. Threw these in and ho lee cow. Difference is night and day. First weld after installing these was an acceptable TIG weld. I actually did a small end zone dance.

To thick for Eastwood Helmet
I will be returning as it is to thick to fit my Eastwood helmet, appears to be good quality, just sorry they don't fit.

Great for old welders
Product works like it should. Great for people who wear bifocals and helps to see the smallest of beads.

These work amazing in my welding helmet.
I installed these on my auto darkening welding helmet. They work amazing. I do not need to switch back and forth for close-up glasses to be able to see my welds. I can still look over the top if I don't need the magnification or flip the helmet up. They have vastly improved my welding technique. I don't need a second set of glasses to be able to weld anymore.
