For me, this product is amazing. Slim, organized, easy to use. Definitely better over the plastic version.If you need to put more than five keys on here, I’m not sure how that would work. If you are carry 5 keys or less, it should work great for you.It is an easy product to use but you need to take your time and assemble it correctly. This part can be frustrating but it’s not that bad. Just takes a bit of time.In terms of using keys once assembled, it is not hard to get the keys out as long as you don’t tighten the screw so much. Additionally, the screws on mine have not come loose in the past month of using the product. I can’t, however speak for somebody who has more than 5 keys.

I love this!! I've bought one for all my brothers and my dad after I accidentally ordered one for myself and totally fell in love. I hated that warden's ring of keys, and the noise they made whenever I walked anywhere. It seems like I collect keys as a hobby, even though I'm constantly trying to get rid of them and don't like carrying them unless I really need to. Turns out, I need to carry a lot of them. Sticking them in my pocket was absurd and they frightened small children when I tried to use them as entertainment. So, this little compact deal, on which I have something like 10 keys, plus my grocery store membership card, is completely brilliant. Even sticking them in my purse is less of a fight and quite easily done. They don't jangle as I drive along in my car because they're not all over the bloody place, jangling about like a bad commercial. They're neat, tidy, somewhat weighty (which would work well if you get into a fight, I expect), and go where they're told. I'm so, so pleased with this. My dad has one and we're quite geeky about the whole situation, it's really quite fun. If you're not a bit geeky, you might not be quite as thrilled.It really is useful, though. It may take some time figuring out the best way to get them on there so that it's even on both sides, or how tight it should be so your keys swing out when you need them, but not just on their own, or whether or not to put the car key on there (those are generally fairly large and take some figuring out). While I haven't mastered the car key level, my dad has and, thus, has everything on this one little dealio - which is awesome!!

This is a great product, and arguably deserving of a five star rating. However, the price of this product (which believe it or not, is a relatively good deal on Amazon compared to buying direct and from other sources), made me hesitate giving this a perfect 5 out of 5 stars rating. So for about what I paid (~$20), I can say this product is still worth the money. Installation was a breeze--it took me five minutes to figure out how to unscrew it and add the extra padding to even out the spacing so that the two sides would be aligned with different number of keys on each.I really like that there are two opposing sides for two sets of keys. I used one side for keys to my parents' house and garage, and I used the other side for my place. Because my parents place has more keys than mine does, the extra padding provided had to be placed for balance of the two sides. The first time I put everything together, the two sides were unaligned. I had to unscrew (which isn't hard--I used a penny), and insert another small black pad (about eight extra are provided).After installation, I immediately got a remark about how cool it looked. And it does, it makes my entire key chain (or lack thereof) setup look better. I now have my car key hooked up to the provided "link" on one end of the KeySmart along with a small USB thumb drive next to it... and that's it! My keys are well organized to not jangle, and better placed for easier accessibility when opening doors at home and at my parents'. The best part to me, however, is that the "cut" sides of the keys fold neatly into the unit, facing the other "cut" side of the other set of folded keys...this is a huge plus because if I have my keys in my palm while resting that hand with my weight on something, the "cut" sides of the keys no longer poke my palm! The same goes for your pocket. No more poking!While I'd love to see this product for $15 (a much more reasonable price to me), I understand this is a somewhat niche item. However, based on this factor, this item falls just a teeny bit below perfection--4.5 stars out of 5.
