This is a fantastic looking Ibrik, and made very well.
I love Turkish coffee. I bought the antique copper Ibrik by Demmex and it looks fantastic in our kitchen, beautifully hand engraved, and it's made in Turkey! It is very well made, and very sturdy, not a piece of junk like my last one was from another company. There is something you need to be aware of, the instructions say to boil milk in it before using it, this is true, follow the directions on how to do that, the Ibrik does have an odd odor but the boiling the milk process removes that. However, once you have finished that you need to season it, you do that by cooking coffee in it like you would if you going to make Turkish coffee, but don't add sugar or anything else, just black, you will need to do that 3 times, once that is done you're good to go.I want to address a few negative comments I read. Onesaid that the rivets are very sharp, not they are not sharp whatsoever. Another said the pot becomes discolored, it's copper, copper does that, even expensive copper, but if it gets wet then you need to dry it ASAP. The same person said the low angle of the handle is easy to catch fire from the stove, that comment made me laugh! If that handle catches fire it's because of three things, one is the flame is up on max, and two the flame are way overlapping the bottom of the pot, and three you have the handle over the flames. Any handle on any pot will burn or melt if you have the handle over the flame, for god's sake learn how to cook. That same person said the handle was unsecured, well if the handle was unsecured why didn't they return it? And the video they showed the handle is solidly secured. I don't understand people making bogus comments. Another said it was a pain the a$$ to use and store, Turkish coffee making is an art, it takes practice, and storage wise it's a lot smaller than any electric coffee maker so why is there trouble storing it? One comment said it didn't work on induction stovetop thus it's not real copper copper DOES NOT WORK on induction stovetops, HELLO! And lastly one said it was thinner than adverised, I just went and measure mine with micrometer and it showed 3mm thickness not 1 as advertised, and I took several readings around the outside and they all came out at 3mm, but the lip could be thicker then the rest of the pot.If you don't know how to make Turkish coffee, that's not the fault of the pot, all you have to do is watch You Tube videos and then practice, but the written instructions provided work just fine if a person can follow directions.Enjoy making and drinking Turkish coffee, I know I am!

Opa! Bravo to Greek coffee!
Just had my 2nd cup of Greek coffee from this lovely pot. My husband is a half Greek Texan. He is interested in his heritage and making Greek coffee. Love watching him explore and enjoy using this exquisite piece of art. The pot is a nice heavy weight, very good quality and workmanship. The brewing capacity is a 9oz pot and we enjoy 2 demitasse cups of wonderful, smooth, tasting Greek coffee. Perfect price and lovely. Videos have been extremely helpful. We even used an electric stove. Happy with our purchase.

No regrets! Really enjoyed having coffee this way.
First venture into Turkish/Greek coffee. Really liked the look of this pot and it didn’t disappoint. Good quality, good weight, the handle feels good in the hand, and the ergonomics make it easy to pour. Knowing tin, I would recommend using the wooden spoon or something non metal so it doesn’t scratch and potentially delaminate the tin. No reason this couldn’t last a lifetime so I’m glad I spent the extra $15 on something I aesthetically liked better and assume is better quality. Most importantly I really enjoyed the coffee! It’s like an espresso but less delicate so u can experiment with it a bit more as it can handle some spices like cardamon and cinnamon and more bodied sweetners like honey and maple.

It's very nice
It's a really nice, proper way to make Turkish coffee right. It heats evenly and quickly on a low setting without disturbing the coffee. I didn't get the spoon unfortunately, I'm not sure why but it just wasn't with the ibrik when it arrived. Oh well.

These are wonderful and worth 5 stars, but lots of misinformation in reviews.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:These are wonderful and worth 5 stars, but lots of misinformation in reviews.- You will NOT get the benefit of copper from these as they are lined with Tin. It's the outside that is copper which will benefit you heat-wise.- Real copper tarnishes if wet and not dried completely. So the people complaining of it looking badly after using are not drying the unit after using it.

Works and looks great but don't expect 9 oz of coffee.
Does the intended job and looks nice. Just note that although it is presented as 9 fl oz capacity, functionally you only get about 5 fl oz of coffee after starting with 7 fl oz of water (instead of 9 to allow for expansion and foaming so it doesn't overflow), the space taken by the ground coffee, and then accounting for the residual coffee sludge you don't drink. But all-in-all I'm happy with it. (Note that some have stated they did not get the wooden spoon. I did get one. It is necessary as a metallic spoon could scratch and damage the tin lining.)

Veyr nice and greta for Turkish coffee
Greta pot and heats Turkish coffeee up very quickly. Very well made with nice engravings. The only downside is the handle which appears to be plastic of some sort. You have to keep it away from any heat. Great pot!!!
