Niiiice!
I always wondered what artists put on their watercolor paintings. Saw this on YouTube. It works quite nicely. Did not bother the colors. Left a nice sheen. Not too much. I tilted it to see. It's a nice little extra protection. I make bookmarks and small pictures. I was using a clear acrylic spray, but I do like this better.

Fantastic cold wax medium for seal gouache paintings
This cold wax medium has a smooth and creamy consistency, making it easy to use for sealing my gouache paintings. After using it, the piece does not have a fully matte finish (as you can see in the images). The wax gives a little depth and enhances the colors. Not too much, but it is definitely noticeable. It's a very effective product. I usually use two coats on each finished piece, letting the first coat dry before applying the second one. It is important to keep it in a cool place. Where I live, it is very hot, and when using the wax that is slightly melted, I have noticed that it takes much longer to dry each coat.I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an effective and inexpensive way to seal watercolor and gouache work.

Does a good job, but no instructions
First time using this as a watercolor artist. I watched probably 7 videos about this as it does not come with instructions. I would not put this on a picture to hang on a wall necessarily. I like it for greeting cards and bookmarks. I spilled water on it, and it works like a charm, no bleeding! On a small (4”x6”) greeting card I just let it dry overnight and buffed it with an old lintless shirt. No discoloration. I didn’t use gloves, but some people advise you to. Its matte and does look more professional than without it. It doesn’t take much, it feels like lotion once you get rubbing it. Very pleased with it.

Excellent Sealer
I’m new to using gouache and I painted a card for someone. I didn’t want it to damage as it would not be framed. I was needing something that would seal the gouache without the paint spreading all over the place. I used the product and it was perfect to say the least. After I use up this tub I will continue to purchase more. Thank you for such a great and helpful product!

Good for protecting small watercolor projects.
I’m using this to put a protective layer over small watercolor projects such as book marks and greeting cards. I use my palette knife to smooth out a bit on to the paper, and then buff it in with a tissue. I don’t notice any odor. Leaves a faint wax sheen, not greasy. Darkens the paint a TINY BIT.

Works great for preserving watercolor paintings.
Great for preserving watercolor paintings. Protects from UV rays, and makes it possible to display paintings without glass. Easy to apply. Recommended by a number of professional artists on line.
