Absolutely TERRIFYING! A Must-Read for Fans of The Warrens!
Out of all the books of Ed and Lorraine’s, this one is one of the creepiest. It’s very psychological, unnerving, dark, intense, and diabolical. It displays just how ruthlessly evil demons can be. Ed and Lorraine were truly brave, courageous people who went out of their way to help people and families in distress. This case tells the story of Frenchie, who is briefly mentioned in The Conjuring and the end of The Nun, and the intense battle for his soul. He was a vulnerable victim of demonic possession - even caught on video - and this book goes into great detail and chronicles the dark path he and The Warrens go down.I highly recommend it!

Not just a Hollywood film evil is real
I enjoyed this book very much. I like learning about the occult and certin signs of it. Also because these are true stories I learn about signs of a world we can not see but is very much real and how to recognize evil. Although Ed and Lorraine Warren books have become Hollywood horror films, evil is very much alive and all around us. I appreciate the knowledge I learn from Ed and Lorraine's books and it always helps me strengthen my relationship with God. That is my wish to other readers that by the time you are finished reading and also know that these remember that these are true events and well documented, it is my wish that you have an open mind and become closer to God and find your way to him. Gid bless

I love the Warrens
I love the Warrens and all their good and helpful efforts. They will be sorely missed and I often wonder, who would fill their shoes? We can only hope that several of their ardent students are capable of taking up their calling.

An interesting and tragic story
If any of you are familiar with the Conjuring universe you will know the name in this story. Maurice “Frenchy” Theriault from “The Nun”. This is his story. It's a tragic one. Well written. There are pictures about half way through which I always like. Gives a more concrete vision of the atmosphere and the people.

So scary, I couldn't get enough of it!!!
Out of all of Ed & Lorraine Warren's books, this one was by far the best that I've read. It was so scary & amazing the torture the man went thru his entire life, starting from jist a little boy. I fully believe everything written in the book & in my opinion this was the worst case of demonic possession I've ever heard of or read about.

Good read.
Easy read. The book does leave a few items open ended and slightly confusing. What was the unholy act in the barn? Why during the last arrest did Maurice seem to go back to a possessed state? The exorcism part of the story was extremely anticlimactic to say the least. But overall I'd give it a solid 3. So far my least favorite of the Ed and Lorraine warren books. I have also read the werewolf book. Much better story although the "flow and feel" of the book was pretty close.
