Basketball Skills & Drills

When I was coaching my daughter's basketball team, I needed all the help I could get. This book was a great resource.

My 2 boys have been watching the dvd and reviewing the book on their own. This book focuses on building a solid foundation of skills and has helped my boys have fun practicing drills in the basement, especially helpful to beat the winter blues. We purchased cones on amazon as well. I give this book 5 stars.

If you are a basketball coach at any level, it never hurts to have too many skills and drills books in your library. This is really good for beginner coaches, and a nice brush up before the start of a new season for more experienced coaches.

Great book for teens and adults. Not recommended for younger players who would like to read and understand the game better. Since I couldn't find a book for kids under 9 years old, I thought this would be good. Too complicated for them without someone reading with them to explain the skills and drills. Otherwise, this is awesome for older kids, adults, and coaches. Comes with a CD, too! Cheers.

This book has a lot of great drills to help someone (or a team) improve basketball skills. My favorite part of this purchase, however, is the included DVD. The DVD allows a coach to see exactly how some of these drills should look on the practice court. Diagrams in a book don't always do a drill justice...the DVD makes that happen.

Great book, it is helping me with my game especialy in the post moves, I has read another titles with good moves but what makes the diference this one start with catching, while it seem obius if I cant get the ball I get off mentaly on offence.

Had this book for a while now and its really good, it has tons of drills for all levels... I am very happy with the book and refer to it often.

The book was very helpful as well as the disc. This information is useful for anyone trying to learn the game inside an out. A great read for coaches and players alike.

Great book Very technical on the fundamentals. exactly what was described

Es bekommt nur 4 Sterne da die Übungen nur mit Text beschrieben werden und nur selten mir einer Zeichnung die zum Verständnis beiträgt man muss schon eine minimale Kenntnis von Basketball haben um jede Übung ohne Zeichnung zu verstehen. Ansonsten ist das Buch super, die DVD hat sehr gute Übungen die auch im Buch stehen und die für Jugendteams sehr geeignet sind da es um die Basics geht, die alsTrainer sehr schwer beizubringen sind!

The book is really good for players but in the book a space is given for keeping DVD. But I didn't receive any DVD with the book and it was written that I will get a DVD on the book cover

Great book. DVD is definitely an added bonus.
