For speakers a must try! Best value out there.
While I have thousands of dollars in audio and video equipment, I am the first person to doubt the gushing praise full of colorful metaphors extolling the audio properties and impact of gimmicky devices. However, I can tell you from experience speaker stands make a huge difference. From my two channel system I have sand filled speaker stands and for my recording studio I use Iso Acoustic stands. Why not something for the modest home theater set up? These little guys did a wonderful job with my theater set up and supporting a B&W CMC center channel and two CM2s for main right and left. So much so, I am quite upset I did not buy these years ago! I missed out for soooo long!!! However, I still have a hard time believing anyone that these (or any product) will make a huge audible difference with power amps, receivers... but maybe I am wrong there too.Oh one thing. I asked the question and there are split opinions about these pads and certain hardwood furniture finishes - some say they can damage certain finishes. Not wanting to take a chance, I have each of mine on a felt furniture pad (2.5"). It may sound slightly better without, but it gives me peace of mind.

Works very well
I got 9 sets of those of various models and more 3 than happy with them under amps, processor, 4k player, Nucleous, and subs.

Essential to great sound
I’m astonished at the difference the right size of these makes to the difference in the sound both under my CD player and under my amp. Use the wrong size for the weight - the sound is compressed. Use the right size and it sounds much more “natural”. I don’t like the oily residue, but they are essential for cheap vibration control.

Low cost insurance...
I have a compact Yamaha receiver with built in CD player. Since the unit sits on the same shelf as the stereo speakers, I thought it would be good to isolate it from any vibes. The KEFs came with sorbothane-type feet, much softer than the hard rubber feet of the Yamaha. These vibrapods are even softer than the speaker feet, and fit well directly under the existing hard rubber. I don't hear any sonic difference, but with about a grand into the system, these seemed like low cost insurance to protect the performance of the receiver and player. I could see these as useful for sensitive disc players, tube equipment or isolation in a stack, but am hoping my preventative approach works too. These are soft, gummy and just short of sticky. The sorbothane ones will give you 2x more pieces at same cost, are firmer but still soft, like shoe insoles. The 3M brand feet are harder and cheaper, what I use for the regular audio equipment, since you get 4x to 8x more pieces at same or less cost.

Didn't do much...
Didn't do much for my application where my stereo equipment is on a stand (with approx. 150 lbs in total on that stand) that is on a wood floor. I do have a small carpet under the stand, but, the wood goes vertically under the stand. When one walks in front of the stand, it can easily cause the stylus to skip. The turntable is on top and I use these under the turntable. I did not think these would work in this application, but, tried anyway. I think I need to find something that goes under the stand feet. But what? That's often the expensive question...

These may be knock offs. Different markings than ones I bought from Vibrapod directly. Also plastic was sticky, the other ones were not.

Great for audio components
Put two of these under my DAC. Gives it lift off surface and looks cool. Can't say it does anything for audio improvement.

They seem to work quite well. I attached them to a block of wood to be placed under my turntable to help reduce vibration.
