Rigid brittle plastic, not the flexible ones I had hoped for. Hard to interlock in your hair.

Plastic plastic don't stay in

One of the Combs came cracked. The material is a very hard plastic. Trying to get them into my hair to lock is very hard to do, and when I do, they are stuck together, and it takes a while to pull them apart. I was hoping the material was flexible/bendable, but unfortunately they are very hard and breakable. I'll keep looking for the bendable kind

They are hard plastic so no give to them. That was stated i think when i bought them. I have thick wavy hair about 4 inches below my shoulder and they hold it back. You can see them in your hair so i got several colors and use them as a finishing touch.

The comes received are very brittle andNext to impossible to get a tight fit. I have had a tooth break off of two pair just trying to get them to interlock in my hair. They are better than none but nothing like my original pair from years ago. Those are made of a much more flexible plastic that interlock easily and as tight as you need them. My hair is very thin and using them for the first time I could not get them to fit tightly. They kept letting my hair fall out and loosing through out the day, very irritating.Well a few uses later and this is the result in the attached picture. The breakage occurred attempting to seperate either while in my hair or prior to putting them in my hair.Look for the France Lux combs, they have tapered teeth thus slide apart and together easily. They are more flexible vs the brittle plastic of the combs in the above picture.
