Tourmaline Ceramic Flat Iron, 1 Inch, Purple

I've had this flat iron for 6 years now and I still love it. I use it daily to either smooth out the night before's blowout, completely straighten for a sleek look, or twist for curls! All 3 pics in this review were achieved using this iron. It adds a nice shine and does not damage my hair (when used with proper heat protectant), nor does my hair get stuck and yanked out like a lot of other irons do. The floating plates allow you to get really close to your scalp and not have those weird lines that always seem to get left behind by my previous iron, a 1" Chi.The only cons:1) Took a star off for temperature control. I don't think it gets up to anywhere near 455 degrees, or at least not anymore. But that's ok, really shouldn't be torching your hair anyway! Also, the dial has numbers on it from 5-25 so you don't really know what exact temperature you're at.2) Took a star off for traveling since this is a bit longer than others and not dual voltage. Also ok, since I'll just use my Chi for travel, but if they ever make this in a dual voltage version, I'm buying it immediately.Overall, a super effective tool, EXCELLENT value for the price. Would buy again if it ever breaks!

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. AT FIRST I WAS WASN'T TO SURE ABOUT ORDERING THIS FLAT IRON WHEN I WAS READING THE REVIEWS BUT ONCE I RECEIVED IT I HAD TO WRITE A REVIEW. IM TOTALLY HAPPY IVE MADE THIS PURCHASE. I LOVE HOW STRAIGHT & SMOOTH THE FLAT IRON MAKES MY HAIR. IT WAS TOTALLY VERY EASY TO USE & THE SIZING & WEIGHT OF THE FLAT IRON IS PERFECT TO PUT INSIDE MY SMALL PURSE. I TOTALLY LOVE THE DESIGN OF THIS FLAT IRON COMPARED TO OTHER BRANDS!

I use my hair straightener until they are dead. I had my last infinity pro for 10+ years. This is going on year 2 I think and is still just as good as when I first got it. It heats up quickly, doesn't pull my hair out when I'm doing my hair and there is no burnt hair smell! I love this flat iron. I will continue to buy infinity pro.

I bought this to have a cheap, functioning flat iron at my boyfriend's house so I didn't have to schlep mine back and forth all of the time (and risk forgetting it as I have done in the past!) I have been using flat irons for close to 20 years now, and this one is amazing! I was stunned by how well it worked, so much so that I had to come here to write a review--something I rarely do.I have very coarse, dense, wavy hair, but this iron straightens quickly. Don't let the price tag fool you! The results last longer than the $200 iron I got for Christmas six years ago, although it might also be that one is on its way out and it is no longer functioning at full capacity. I really can't recall. :POne of the reasons I decided on this iron over others on Amazon is that it has the automatic shut-off feature. While I rarely forget to turn off my iron, I have left my old one on at home before. Because of that, some mornings I go into work wondering if I actually did turn it off! It is nice to have the piece of mind knowing that I'm not going to unintentionally burn the place down!I went with the 1-inch iron for two reasons. I have always used a 1-inch. It might take a little longer but gives better precision styling and curling, in my unprofessional opinion. Also, I LOVE the purple!I have not used the sample oil that came with the iron. I appreciate it was included, but right now I'm all about the keratin treatment I discovered at Walmart (It's A 10 Miracle Leave-In Plus Keratin). Highly recommend for hair like mine.I bought this to be my backup iron, but I've decided to swap it out to by my main iron at home and bring my old one to my boyfriend's place. That's how much I love it!One little caveat to my review--I just got this iron and have only used it twice. I have no idea how long it will last. Like many lower-priced products, they don't tend to last as long, but as I mentioned with my $200 iron that is six years old, I have a feeling these things need to be replaced every few years with heavy use anyway.I hope this review helped! Works great and I have really curly hair.

This is a great iron! It heats up super quickly, super simple to use, straightens my hair with two passes. My hair stayed straight for a day and a half after straightening it. I was also able to curl my hair and it worked wonders. Only thing I will say is to be careful when straightening your hair because hair does tend to snag at the tip of the plates.
