Bought this for my nephew. The scissors were no good and the needles were useless, the eye in them was so small and they had started to rust. The actual wallet was good and appears quite a tough canvas type material . The thread colours were good although there was no white cotton. I changed the scissors and needles for better quality ones and I also added white cotton. I have to say that given the issues with the scissors and needles I still liked the kit and I gave 4 stars overall.

I added extra cotton as there wasn't any white which is needed. The scissors aren't great but I swapped them for some of much better quality. The recipient was very impressed and loved the wallet to keep them in.

So this was purchased for my son to take to cadet camp. It does what is needed has all the bits in that he'll need. Can't really fault it.

I needed a 'manly- coloured' sewing kit for use at home and away. Many kits on the site contain a lot of threads in colours that I would never use. This kit however fitted my needs exactly black, green, blue and brown cottons. Some buttons that I will likely never use. Needless, a thimble etc. Quality is not the best but for the price, it does represent value for money.Recommended for home, camping and those needing a portable sewing kit.

Great quality and perfect size. Can be put into any pocket in your bag and takes up minimal space. The colour tread is perfect for most military patch jobs you need to do. Good kit for the price.
