Just OK - Leaves an Oily Residue without Getting All the Dirt!
Bel-Ray seems to be an oil-based solvent - meaning to me that it leaves an oily residue and it will not rinse off with water only. I use a soapy sponge to remove the cleaner and the dirt. PJ's seems to me to be a better product, in that it is water soluble and will leave the chain a lot cleaner with only a water rinse. All I want a chain cleaner to do is to clean the chain. I am expecting to use a chain lube for lubrication.

Does the job!
This chain cleaner works like a charm. I ride Adventure Touring bikes and go off-road often so chain maintenance is a must. This cleaner works extremely well removing all grime without much effort. After using this I don't even consider using anything else.

Glad I finally found the product that comes on a new motorcycle chain from the factory / dealer. This stuff is the best. I tried it on my bicycle chain and I can feel the difference vs. a high end wax or oil. This will go on all my bikes (moto and pedal) from now on.

works great. i own a MAXX IV & MAXX II. 90% of the products i use to maintain our two 6x6 are Bel-Ray products & i do not intend to switch brands ever. best products made for my uses. thanks guys. keep it up

New go to chain lube
Love this stuff, it goes on white so I know how much I’ve put on, it doesn’t attract dust and sand like my other ones and it lubricates well. Will buy again.
