The case is very nice and seems to be sturdy. It also holds the pencil safely. I do wish it had a optional pencil holder to avoid drawing the battery. Overall I do love the case and will likely order another one in a different color.

I am editing this 1 1/2 months after I bought it because I’ve love this case. It’s every thing I said below, and even classy looking. It holds the pencil completely, and I dropped my iPad once and this cover saved it. I’ve never edited a review, but this one is that good.I bought this after I bought an Apple cover for my new IPad Pro 12.9” Four reasons this is better: it has a pencil holder. I was worried that the pencil wouldn’t magnetize to the iPad and therefore not charge unless you moved it out of the holder. They actually came up with a simple idea which is that the holder spot is only along the outside of the pencil. The inside still magnetized directly to the load. Second, it has protection for all the external edges of the iPad. Third it’s a lot less money, last, the Apple magnet was so strong that it was hard to open. I’m very happy with this thing.

Love the case! It’s light weight. The color is exactly like the pictures. I love that it has a spot for the Apple Pencil 2 just to make sure it stays connected to the iPad when your on the go.
