when you open the package, you won't smell the traditional Thai Jasmine, but when you cook it, it has a really nice flagrance, which is different from the aroma of the traditional Thai Jasmine rice, but I like this different aroma too.

Although I haven't tried every kind of rice there is, Mahatma brand jasmine rice is worth spending the extra money on. It's got a much better flavor and consistency than regular white rice.
