I've had My Welch Allyn for over 40 years & these specula fit fine. I'm not familiar with the 25020a number you're referring to. Before purchasing, why don't you can ask the seller if they'll accept a return if it doesn't fit your otoscope.

Definitely a difference

buying these namebrand otoscope speculums I highly recommend. I’ve bought the generic version of these and they never fit on the otoscope head exactly right. They always have a loose fit. these fit perfect and hold onto the otoscope head. Also other brands tend to be shinier and finish, which causes light reflections when you’re looking into an ear. These do not cause that same problem. They are a matte black.
