Rhino ROV PRO Everyday 8" Motorized Slider for Smartphones and Small Cameras, Gunmetal Finish

Really great basic powered slider and app. Worth it for $150 when purchased on sale. Really handy little thing, and the battery lasts forever.

I have this slider since 2021. What sad news I just learned rhino camera gear close I have a Rhino Rov Pro Slider and haven't used it for a long time. It's a great slider, but to my surprise, the Rhino Motion app no ​​longer exists. Now I have a beautiful, useless slider. I wish there was a third-party app.

I like the fact that this is a portable slider you can pack easily in a backpack. I dislike the fact that the slider moves on its own when shooting in the vertical position, it does not support heavy lens. Also the slider arrived in a beat up open box, and the charger was missing. The seller sold me a used product, It was supposed to be new.

I do have an issue with the noise. Also the head that came with the slider is not that sturdy. Seems like cheap plastic. I returned it. Not happy for the price.

I never got chance to use it because it doesn't cone with a remote control or application for people with adroit phone to use it.

I have had good results with this unit. It is sturdy, easy to carry around, and quick to set up and operate. I've used it on many jobs with my G85 and end up with some great motion in my shots, which definitely give them an edge over static shots. I use that combo as the B-cam for every interview. If you extend the legs and set it on a level surface, the shot remains perfectly level. If you mount it on a tripod plate as I have in the photo, the entire unit can shift slightly when the camera is out at one end - not so much a fault of the unit, though this unit is kind of marketed as being small and portable enough to just center mount like that rather than on two tripods. That's how I've been using it, for speed and portability, but I should find a way to make it tighter and/or more supported when on a tripod.

Rhino makes great products for video/ camera work. With that being said, it was hard no to pass on the amazing deal that was listed. Everything looks legitimate and feels of good quality. The downside is that the item received seemed as if it was stored for a long time or repackaged. It was covered with dust out of the box. I didn't think much since I was able to wipe it off. Everything worked so I was not concerned at all. It has been about 2.5 months since I first received this slider and the battery is completely dead and will no longer charge no matter how long I leave it. I recommend purchasing from rhino direct, or from a reputable vendor.

I love this slider but why there is no charger in the box? i send the message to the seller. And they said contact amazon because it sent from amazon warehouse or whatever . . . so far nobody even care email, call, message . . . . to answer me why?
