I have been using glass Ello water bottles for YEARS.... ok? and they are great, but I have discovered that they are sometimes forbidden in certain venues, are pretty heavy, and they are covered with that silicone cover thing that makes it hard to get the bottle in and out of some things very easily. That being said, we are doing some preparation for a trip we are taking and these little bottles are really meeting the mark. They slide easily in and out of our bags and stroller caddy. We got the 16 oz version and its just the right size for slipping into the sleeve of a carry-on or an underseat bag. They are not heavy and dont contribute a lot to the overall weight of my luggage (when empty). They have the little handle thingy to pass a carabiner or strap through. They dont have any plastic at all. I am pleased! They also come in lots of fun colors. We just got the stainless steel one and the black on though (i guess we are boring lol). I have been using mine everyday since I got it in my purse doing errands and whatnot and its really holding up and hasnt leaked. If you are looking for an insulated option, this isnt it, but thats not what the product is. Its a solid, no fuss single wall stainless steel bottle that will likely last a long time.Came back to add a couple months in remark: they wash well. I know that seems like a silly thing to add, but they do. They wash up well and dont accumulate mildew or whatever seems to always be an issue with other reusable water bottles. I think its the high quality materials and the simple but solid construction. Some other reviews mentioned that water gets stuck in the cap and thats sometimes true, but if you set it to dry on its side the water drains out and its ok. Im still happy and using the bottle a lot!! Its taking a lot of use and still works well :)

I got these to try to replace the plastic bottles I was reusing. I like them a lot so far. I’ve been using them for 3 months, back and forth between home, gym, and work. So normal but frequent “wear and tear.” Here are some notes:1. The screeching sound when you unscrew the top is greatly diminished when there’s liquid in the bottle. It muddles the vibration and lubricates the threads.2. The 32oz (8cm wide) is just barely too big for my car’s cupholder, but the 24oz (7cm) fits perfectly.3. It’s not insulated at all. The temp inside will quickly become the outside and vice versa, and condensation builds. If that’s a problem for you, look for an insulted option.4. No leaks when I shake it. Great for mixing powders into drinks. And the wide mouth is handy for that.5. I’ve run 4 lids through the dishwasher many times (top rack only), and so far everything’s intact. I haven’t had a problem with the bamboo top separating from it like some others have mentioned.6. The colored bottles have a slightly more slippery surface than the plain silver one. Could be an issue when combined with the condensation if you’re using it during outdoorsy/physical type stuff.7. I am not interested in testing their durability, but I’ve dropped one on concrete one time, and it made a tiny pea-sized dent on the bottom edge. Other than that they have survived 3 months of normal but frequent use.I hope in the future this company can manufacture an optional flip-top lid with a sip spout for quicker access.

I bought these to replace some plastic water bottles after watching the documentary "We are all plastic people" and learned how may microplastics we're ingesting everyday from plastic water bottles. These stainless steel bottles also have a stainless lids so there's no plastic touching your water at all, which is perfect! They're not insulated so they won't keep your liquid cold all day but I just fill them up and keep them in the fridge and then pour them into something else for drinking. Overall, great product!

I bought two waters bottles for my boyfriend and I after looking for an alternative to plastic. They are leak proof and sturdy, with a handle on top that makes it easy to carry anywhere. The wooden piece on the top one of one was lose and it wouldn't stay on even shortly after purchase which is why i gave this four stars. They will dent very easily if you drop them, but otherwise has worked well.

These bottle are fantastic. Stainless steel all around. Easy to clean and good quality. I bought one and liked it so much I bought another 2.

I haven't found another water bottle with absolutely no plastic, so I like that part. It's easy to clean and holds a lot of water. But I dropped the bottle once, and the bottom immediately deformed and no longer stands up. The cap makes a horrible screeching sound of metal against metal when closing and opening. So I really don't enjoy using this water bottle even though it has features that I really appreciate.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Like some others, my water tasted bad, especially the longer it sat in the bottle. I emailed the company and they provided two options. 1. Scrub the bottle with baking soda and dish soap. 2. Fill the bottle with water and baking soda and let it sit overnight. I had already scrubbed it thoroughly before using. So I did the second method. I also shook it up periodically and left it in there 24 hours. That worked.Also, for anyone who has hand issues: the lid is very easy to twist on and off because you can get good leverage from the wide metal loop. However, it is not comfortable to carry by the loop if it’s filled. That metal wire is too thin. That makes it a bit inconvenient. Giving it 4 stars because overall it seems like a decent bottle and good value. However, I was frustrated when I found out you have to hand wash the lid and it can’t go through the dishwasher. Also I expect with the design of the lid and the bamboo it will not last as long as other water bottles.
