How can this be used for a 1 ml ampoule? it slides down inside and can't be snapped? very disappointed. Am i doing it wrong?

Easy. You put the narrowest part of the ampoule where the snapper bends. Make sure you have the dot facing you and close upper and lower flaps to secure the ampoule and snap away from you. Don’t forget to get all the liquid in the lower half before you start by tapping or flicking.
